Recently we found out that the fake left Justice Democrats, the horrible spawn of the Bernie Sanders 2016 chaos, are going to be trying to primary out the Congressional Black Caucus, where such patriots as Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and William Lacy Clay (D-MO) are serving this country with faithful decency as we speak. This is hardly shocking, but it’s still ugly.
The natural question is why, and the answer is twofold. First, the right-wing wants to Make America White Again, and the fake left Justice Democrats are always there for them. Second, black people have proven utterly invulnerable to the off-brand crazy socialism they’re spouting off about all the time. They voted in a bloc smarter than any other group in 2016, solidly for Hillary Clinton, both times. It’s very convenient for the extreme wings of our political spectrum (which needs some redefining, something we’ll be working on and looking at not a long time from now) to share that goal.
Back in 2015, when I heard the name of Bernie Sanders for the first time, my understanding of what the far left really was had not begun yet, and so I got to be unpleasantly startled many times by the sheer hatefulness they were capable of carrying inside them. One of their most notable figures, Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks, was made to resign when sexually perverse essays were discovered in his past. Bernie Bros like the one who left the printed words on the picture below was every bit as nasty in terms of racism and sexism and refusing to tolerate dissent, if not nastier, than the Donald Trump supporters and alt-right trolls of 4chan and Reddit fame. In 2016 we went through everything you can imagine with these people.
I honestly hadn’t expected it at all, especially not when considering how united everyone had seemed during the Obama days. It didn’t have to be this way, but that’s how it went in the end. Now it is 2019, however, and nothing surprises me anymore. Bernie Sanders is the center of it all- though we still do not wish him dead. Even after all he’s done, we still sent him our best wishes in the form of an article. But ultimately it all goes back to the fact that his supporters blamed black people for Bernie losing ( and badly).
The Justice Democrats rose out of the ashes of Bernie or Bust, and that they have run rampant in his name ever since. It is also a fact that the same ugly traits of racism and sexism have followed along with them likewise. So for them now to be going after many of the top black voices in the Congress ought to be a surprise to absolutely no one.
The Justice Democrats have targeted black voices in the past, most notably AM Joy Reid, who was the target of an extreme Twitter assault in 2017. Now black lawmakers are feeling highly realistic anxiety about the coming election season and who and who not might be under the sniper’s rifle next. Reps. Yvette Clarke (D-N.Y.), Joyce Beatty (D-Ohio), and Anthony Brown (D-Md.). Brown said the closeted right-wing organization has been making calls in his district, actively trying to recruit a challenger to run against him. They say they’re not, but the word of a real Democrat is worth that of all the Justice Democrats on Earth, even if they were to be gathered into one place and tied together. My money’s on Brown to the very last nickel.
“It just seems strange that the social Democrats (use of this term is an unfortunate mistake, but nobody’s perfect; still, the sane and decent governmental system known as social democracy is not at all the same thing as the fuzzy and ill-conceived of “democratic” socialism Bernie talks about) seem to be targeting members of the Congressional Black Caucus, individuals who have stood and fought to make sure that African Americans are included and part of this process,” Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.), a senior CBC member, told The Hill.
Strange indeed; yet when considered as a whole, a pattern becomes pretty clear. This pattern of the far left using the same techniques as the right and to further their goals will show up over and over again to a researcher of the subject.
Playing one group of persons against the other is how the people have been manipulated by whoever was running the show since the beginning of time, and it’s what they’re doing now. Hispanic Caucus member Henry Cuellar’s primary foe is a Latina (by the way, fake Native Elizabeth Warren helped with this; so much for her help with race relations in America), whereas Clay’s is a black woman.
This is a completely right-wing trick- as a matter of fact, the Republicans are getting ready to use it against Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by running Scherie Murray against her. Murray is a black woman immigrant from Jamaica. How callous.
AOC’s coming to power eliminated one of the best guys we had in the House, Joe Crowley, whose professionalism and integrity are needed now more than ever. Since then she has managed to annoy just about everyone and is absolutely unpopular in her district. People who never would have thought of voting red in 2016 are thinking good and hard about it now. They are positively pondering.
From a Republican standpoint, it really is a coup. They are going to out-progressive the multi-cultural and goodhearted Democratic Party, in the heart of New York City, during the Trump era. You have to hand it to the guys who thought this up, even though we moderates have been screaming at everyone to watch for it. They did it, and they did it unto us. And now here we are, fighting for everything, wasting all our resources. If they really were Democrats, they would realize how hurtful their behavior is and desist. But they’re not. So they won’t.
Colonialism was the largest-scale and most brutal of the schemes cooked up by social planners before Auschwitz and the Gulag Archipelago and should be viewed as the true ancestor of socialism. So although a socialist like AOC has little ground for complaint, we who have been here fighting both extremes on a day-to-day basis and are being stalked by the intelligence services of other countries as a result have every right to bemoan what is all but a sure loss of a Democratic seat.
We are going to fight as hard as we can, for William Lacy Clay and Henry Cuellar and any other good Democrat in the Congress, all the more so if by their departure the United States will be reverting into the brutal thug racism of our past. We NEED black/person of color voices in our government, and we will not surrender them lightly. Millennial Democrats wish to express our full and complete solidarity with the Congressional Black Caucus. Now and forever.
