One Word: Impeach.

One Word: Impeach.

One Word: Impeach.

Well, here we go, America! Hold on to your hats. For the day has finally come to aim our biggest cannon at the biggest crook to ever disgrace the presidency. Donald Trump has been an embarrassment and a burden for too long. For years now, we have stood behind the national leadership and help tamp down talk of impeachment as too divisive and too risky. Nancy Pelosi is announcing the formal impeachment inquiry as these words are being written.

We are going to impeach Donald Trump.

We have never been for this before, even though it was clear we had enough to impeach him on before he came to office. It’s because we didn’t just want to wing him, in the terminology of a hunter. If it came to this- and most of us have suspected that it would from the beginning- we wanted to drop him good, and to do it with ammunition made by the man himself. Impeachment is the biggest cannon there is, and we are readying it to fire.

Donald Trump is a crook. He’s always been a crook. It’s all he knows how to be, is a crook. His father was a Klansman and his grandfather a pimp. So this thing with trying to get Ukraine to do something crooked, to threaten to withhold military aid if they would not help him do more crooked things, in this case disgustingly trying to label Joe Biden’s son as corrupt- because he thinks Biden’s going to beat him, as do we- It’s just kind of par for the course, these days.

That is the biggest reason of all why we have for America’s sake to impeach him.

And by the way, Joe Biden just announced that he agrees. Democrats from all across the spectrum, for the first time, progressives and socialists and John K. Delaney and all, are going to unite and get rid of this man.

They talk about the ‘bar having been lowered’ for Trump. Man, just look around you! That bar got blasted out of God’s creation. There IS no more bar! For any of us. The system has broken down, says Susan Rice on CNN. No one disagrees. America has lost touch with a sane reality because of this man, and so has the rest of the world. Children are doing more drugs because of the stress of the era given his name. People are hating their lives.

Truth itself has lost its meaning in this country because of this man. We’re descending into Bolshevism. Our system is looking more and more like one of these new hybrid variants of National Socialism. The teachings of our parents are losing meaning. We can’t let this go on.

Donald Trump has simply got to go.

The World Freedom Index says we’re no longer a democracy. We’ve got children in dog cages screaming for their parents. Trump recently said he’d pardon anyone who helped him build the wall illegally. Robert Mueller tried to tell us; his report stated blatantly that if Trump were not the president, he would have been charged with obstruction of justice for sure.

He also told us that Trump welcomed another country’s blatant theft of our electoral privacy and expected to benefit from what they did on his behalf at the behest of Vladimir Putin the awful dictator, and to the rest of Earth.

There comes a point to say enough is enough, and we’ve been living inside of it, like the center of a dartboard, since the day he took the oath. We’ve lost our values. It’s been like trying to hold back a flood. We are beset on every level, all the time. Enough of the stirred-up white nationalism; we will never forget how your bull and air of anything-goes chaos stunk up the country and got our sister Heather Heyer killed by Nazis at Charlottesville.

Enough of the sucking up to dictators. We weren’t happy to see John Bolton come, but we also were not happy to see him go, at least not like that, fired on Twitter in your usual moronic style. We do NOT want the Taliban stinking up Camp David, we don’t want any of it. We all have had enough of your schtick since The Apprentice, forget about now. We’ve been following it all since the beginning, and although the list is far from complete, I remember writing about all of it very well.

Let’s take a walk down Memory Lane, Donald, shall we? I’m the Ghost of Christmas Past.

You brought Steve Bannon into the National Security Council, Donald, and gave him a look at the classified information of our country. Who could forget you brought Omarosa along, speaking of The Apprentice? When they dragged her out kicking and screaming, she left with a briefcase of data, and she slammed your crooked behind for the pig you were- and are.

John Kelly, a formerly respected four-star general (before he lied for you and called Maxine Waters a liar, on your behalf, since you told a grieving military parent that your son knew what he was getting into, and then offered her money), got rid of Omarosa and Bannon, but sometime later you fired him for calling you an idiot. That’s also what happened to H.R. McMaster, James “Mad Dog” Mattis, and Rex Tillerson, the other supposed ‘adults in the room’.

I mean, if you’re an American, you don’t know whether to laugh or to cry.

You let a Chinese spy go wandering around the Mar-a-Lago, where you sometimes discuss nuclear secrets. That trial is stalled, by the way; they’re calling it an Underwear Blunder. Jesus God.

You refused to close down immigration ports during Hurricane Harvey, the same day you pardoned Joe Arpaio; what a slap in the face. you never made sure the people of Puerto Rico have had clean water, ever since. There’s another flood there now, and all over the newspapers are pictures of thousands of drinking water bottles. In the richest country in the world. Forget about the people of Flint, Michigan; they’re mostly black anyway, right?

Or Native Americans, like the Wampanoags who gave us Thanksgiving, and had their tribal status revoked by Donald Trump right before last year’s Thanksgiving. They don’t like clean water either, apparently. Remember all the protests over the Standing Rock pipeline, because of how bad it was going to screw up the water of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe? I Stand With Standing Rock? That pipeline went through, and no longer in the news often is the story of how they’re going to double it.

It’s all become typical. And that’s revolting. Three years ago, it felt like we were really getting someplace. (Thank you, Bernie or Bust).

None of the things we were fighting for in the Obama era are still getting coverage. We lost every one of those battles the day Trump was elected. It’s too painful to talk about for most of us. Remember the national outcry over police brutality? Where did that go? There have been many Trayvon Martins dead during the Trump era, but there are too many other horrors in the news for the likes of Saheed Vassell to get much coverage, even if the Stephon Clarks get a few days- as do the daily mass shootings like the one at Parkland High School down in Florida.

It has all but ceased to matter because we’re holding on for our dear lives. The greatest hope we had has been Joe Biden, and it still is. But now we’ve got another way going as well, a more direct way, reflective in every way of what a good crook deserves. We needed to wait for something ironclad to come along and tie all these atrocities together, and now it has. We’re pleased to announce that Nancy Pelosi is about to give the people what they want. Here at Millennial Democrats, we rejoice in our hearts that the day has finally come.

Impeach the filthy animal.

Millennial Democrats would like to collectively thank the brave Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who stood tall under terrible pressure and held the line when the tidal wave of corruption worldwide came to swallow him. He stands on the mouth of a chasm now, and our prayers are with him. God has fought beside many brave men who resisted, and he stands with all of us now. We would also like to thank the brave, anonymous, credible whistleblower who has gone the path of Deep Throat, who helped Washington Post reporters take down Richard Nixon, whose spectre raised its ugly head between the shoulders of Roger Stone during the heart of the Russiagate scandal. All the worst people and tendencies in our country have been dancing like devils on the streets, cavorting with indecency on our screens and on our streets. It is time we got our sanity back, and today, we announce we’re going to take it.

The Worst Day Yet For Donald Trump- Manafort and Cohen Guilty.

Licking lips like a lizard, Michael Cohen turns on Trump completely. Manafort guilty on 8 counts! Great day for US.

When America saw that Paul Manafort was found guilty yesterday, many of us shouted for literal joy. One lone holdout juror refused to vote to find him guilty on all eighteen counts, so ten of them ended up being a mistrial. He’ll have to go to court again on those.

On eight counts, however, he was guilty then and there. It’s enough to make sure he goes to prison.

“I won’t be this happy on Christmas, unless they find some other, even bigger, Trump crony to throw in the can,” said one of our senior contributors on the subject.

Manafort is said to have held out and went to trial believing he would get a pardon from Trump, who refused to deny he was considering it, even though bipartisan condemnation would surely follow.

Trump’s pardon of Joe Arpaio tells the story loud and clear, though. This “president” is not at all above subverting the judicial system to reward those who commit crimes he likes. Manafort may get his pardon- but even if he did, he would have to rot in jail until he finishes his other cases. He’s going to do years under any circumstances.

There can be no doubt. After two years of brazen lies, insults, and claims that all we say is fake news, finally. The slobs who watch Fox News can willfully deny no longer, and neither can their Republican masters.

They can gripe, they can whine, they can get ready to start obstructing again after we take back all power from the Republicans and never give any of it back to them. They had better adjust to that reality quick, for their own sakes.

Because Robert Mueller- whose public approval rating has jumped 11 points in the last 24 hours- absolutely blasted Trump yesterday.

Big as a deal as the Manafort conviction was- on any other day, I can’t even imagine another topic taking precedence- it was actually overshadowed by the court appearance and subsequent plea deal taken by Michael Cohen, Trump’s former personal attorney.

Cohen’s admission that he paid hush money to Stormy Daniels at Trump’s behest makes Trump the uncharged conspirator in a major felony case.

To understate the case all but absurdly, it’s a big deal. For the first time since he got elected, talk of his impending impeachment may not be far from reality-although if it is, the Republicans should be the ones to do it. We don’t want to split the country like they did with Bill Clinton. They can clean up their own mess, while we raise awareness about their incapacity to do it.

At any rate, Trump has been caught with his pants down, both with Stormy and with former Playboy centerfold Karen MacDougal. He paid her off too.

The question now on everybody’s mind is what comes next.

For all the talk about Robert Mueller and his investigation getting ready to wrap up this fall, we really have no idea. Mueller’s team has been completely immune to the sort of leaks that haunt the White House. There is no person in Mueller’s life analogous to Omarosa Manigault.

Justice Department policy regarding the indictment of a sitting president in the past suggests Mueller won’t charge him directly. But there’s never been a president this crooked before either, so we really don’t know. It is our opinion that at this point, the possibility should not be ruled out.

Indictment or no, the damage this will do to our unpleasant 45th president is almost impossible to overstate.

Between Cohen and Manafort, it’s been the hardest day for Trump since the day of him boasting about other sex offenses he committed on the “Grab ’em” tape recorded by Access Hollywood. It was a one-two punch of epic proportions. Trump is reeling.

What direction the finishing blow comes from is going to depend on Robert Mueller’s report and what’s in it. By this point, it seems likely that it won’t be anything good for Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, Trump himself is said to be calm for the moment, which to this Millennial Democrats contributor seems like the effects of shock. It is said that in the White House, they are bracing for a storm- a storm Trump himself has perceived he is caught out in.

Democrats are likewise preparing for the storm. Our leaders have drafted a wide-ranging contingency plan that will go into immediate effect should Trump try and fire Mueller. It will also happen if he takes any other steps to kill the Russia investigation, like firing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein or pardoning key witnesses.

“How did we get here?” Trump woefully wondered on Fox News earlier this evening.

You ran for president, Donald. That’s how.

It’s been a tangled path, but one thing is certain. He’s got only himself to blame.

Making Tyranny Great Again-Trump Spends Week Assaulting Democracy.

Trump is a threat to our democracy.

Ever since the first few weeks that Trump took office, in which he created worldwide pandemonium by announcing via Twitter that citizens of seven countries were banned from traveling into the United States, America has seen itself disgraced by the conduct of its 45th president time and again.

Things have reached the point where it’s becoming normal. The bar of expectations set by our citizens for our leaders is having to be lowered by the day, and that is very dangerous to our democracy.

Most recently, it’s been his decision to start stripping people who criticize him of their security clearances, starting with former CIA director James Brennan.

Axios recently tweeted that Trump has become enamored with the unchecked powers of the presidency. “What he enjoys most about this job is finding things he has absolute power over,” said one source who’s worked closely with Trump.

Sources recently told Mike Allen that Trump  “got a kick out of pardons, that he could pardon anybody he wants and people would come to him to court him and beg him.”

60 former CIA officials have signed a letter responding to the removal of Brennan’s security clearance, pointing out that “The country will be weakened if there is a political litmus test applied before seasoned experts are allowed to share their views.”

Of course it will, but that is not what Trump cares about.

Trump’s attack on John Brennan is meant to distract us from his crimes, starting with the fact that he and his crew are almost certain to be proved guilty of agreeing to conspire with a shady Kremlin plot to help Trump win the 2016 presidential election.

Even at this minute, he is aiding and abetting Putin’s attack on the election by denying it was happening. He’s still doing it.

Meanwhile, his old campaign manager Paul Manafort’s trial drags on, because the jury is still deliberating. Why? There is enough evidence against that guy to throw him in the can for a million years.

The jurors must be at least as aware of it as we are, which is what makes it fishy that they’re still in there arguing with each other about it. T.S. Ellis, the judge, who has been threatened himself, says they’re scared. Who can blame them?

All the while, Trump is talking about how sad it is that a guy who stabbed America like Manafort did is on trial at all.

Not very democratic of him, but that’s the kind of guy he is.

The bottom line is that democracy is an impediment to Donald Trump. He does not find it useful, so he holds it in contempt. To him, the natural order of things involves debauched old white guys on top of every power structure, shouting orders and bossing everybody around.

Democracy has been in the process of rejecting this worldview for more than a hundred years. So why respect it? It’s an albatross around his neck.

If he can manage to whip up a sort of spit-polished authoritarianism, some form of rule that would retain a veneer of democracy while skewing the contest to ensure its result, that would be ideal for Trump, and also for his right-wing nationalist buddies all throughout the world.
Trump wants Erik Prince to build him his own private army. he was talking about building him a private spy network a few months ago. They want to privatize the war in Afghanistan.
He’s been talking up his dictator buddies, like Putin and Kim and Maduro, right from the start. As long ago as 1989, he was making public statements deploring the “lack of control” the Soviet Union had over its people. He wants to do whatever he wants to do, and he can’t  completely disregard the rights of others because he lives in a democracy.
How then to get rid of it?
In the clouded and foggy mind of Trump, these notions are not well conceived. They are murky impressions at best, addled further by the dementia Omarosa says he’s got. But other authoritarian leaders, like Putin, understand them very well and would like nothing better than to see them take place here.
America is the center of the current, liberal world order that has given us everything since the conclusion of World War Two, a struggle over these same ideas that nearly finished us. In order for that to change, America must abandon its values. That is why Trump, a man who values nothing he can’t stain his T-shirt with, was so favorable a candidate for other despots to support.
Going forward, we have got to come together strongly to affirm that we will not give up our values for anyone or anything. That is what the Resistance is for. Preservation of all we have in America depends on our success.

Trump Circle in Mueller Meltdown! Kushner’s Clearance Cut, Hicks Quits

Mueller Meltdown

A slew of gigantic developments have stormed America this week in the Russiagate investigation. Even as these words were being written, a Belorussian sex worker being held in a Thai jail has offered to tie Trump to Russia, saying she’s the only one who can complete the chain, and that she’s in fear for her life from Putin.

Yesterday it was confirmed that Trump was thinking of firing the Special Counsel Robert Mueller last summer, and today, we were given an avalanche of reasons why.

CNN reported this morning that Mueller is asking witnesses about Trump’s business connections in Russia from before the election. And this afternoon, NBC reports that Mueller has been asking members of the Trump inner circle whether he knew about Russian hacking of Democratic emails.

Earlier this week, Mike Rogers, our current CIA director, warned the nation that Trump has literally not given him permission to do anything to prevent the Russian efforts geared at hacking the new elections.

It was also confirmed recently that the Russians penetrated voter data in seven states at least and targeted at least 21. Still, though, Trump refuses to admit it’s anything but a hoax. This is crazy. We need to start cleaning house before it’s too late

Yet another White House Communications Director, Hope Hicks, has resigned, the day after she testified to the House Intelligence Committee that she “tells white lies” for Trump.

Maybe the biggest news, however, is that chief of staff John Kelly has downgraded the top secret security clearance for Jared Kushner. Reports have recently emerged that Kelly has grown frustrated with Ivanka’s role in the Oval Office as well. But the most surprising thing is that Trump just sat there and took it.

It would seem that a pivotal moment is at hand.

The whole reason Kelly was brought in, to begin with, is that Trump hired a whole Cabinet full of freaks.

He had his zaniest Apprentice Omarosa Manigault– who had to be dragged out, kicking and screaming, but now seems happy to be gone- just wandering around the halls of the White House.

Sean “Spicey” Spicer, the favorite target of Saturday Night Live, was the most ridiculous person in the world. It is the opinion of Millennial Democrats that there has never been a man so frequently mocked.

His successor, Anthony Scaramucci, lasted only days, in the meantime adding to American history a blistering torrent of obscenity, including the choice phrase, “I’m not Steve Bannon! I’m not trying to s*** my own c***!”

Speaking of Steve Bannon, Trump himself called him “Sloppy Steve”. The National Security Council was not the right place for him. Based on his choice of a sobriquet, Trump knew it. But even still, that’s where he put him.

It is the recommendation of Millennial Democrats that you DO NOT Google the term, “Sloppy Steve”. Don’t ask.

Trump even tried to give the chairmanship of the National Endowments for the Arts to Sylvester Stallone. To his credit, Stallone refused the job, although retrospectively he was more qualified by far than the average Trump flunky. It’s a wonder Scott Baio wasn’t given the job instead. Charles In Charge, man. You don’t know whether to laugh or to cry.

Trump makes his decisions according to who he likes. Who his family is, who his buddies are. It’s called nepotism, and it used to be a crime.

At any rate, the next thing to come out was that at least four countries have been licking their chops at Kushner for a long time, actively planning how to profit from manipulating him. Current and former U.S. administrative representatives spoke based on intelligence reports about the matter.

Officials in the United Arab EmiratesChinaIsrael and Mexico privately discussed how their nations could benefit from Kushner’s international business dealings and lack of government experience, unnamed sources told the Washington Post.

Before becoming a White House senior adviser, Kushner ran his family real-estate firm Kushner Companies. In that capacity, Kushner went all over the place to court foreign financing.

Apparently, the naive and thirsty conduct he exhibited while hunting around for investors made him appear “particularly manipulable” in the eyes of U.A.E. officials, for instance, said the Post.

There are concerns in the halls of government that Kushner was “naive and being tricked” in his conversations with foreign officials.

Remember how Kushner offered a secret backdoor channel of communications to Sergey Lavrov, the Russian ambassador? It is said that Lavrov was visibly shocked at the sheer naivete.

It all goes to show why Russia worked so hard on this. The whole world is eating lunch off us right now.

In the rest of the world, everyone knew what Democrats were trying so hard to tell American citizens, namely, that Trump is a slob and a fool, dangerously incompetent, and as unfit to hold office as a sewer rat.

They knew if he were elected, he would constantly bungle, and that America would be weakened horribly because of it. They knew that if people were stupid enough to fall for Trump over here, it’s because we have become dangerously weak and indolent. And even though that isn’t true of most of us, as evidenced by the three million more votes Hillary Clinton got than Donald Trump did, it is nevertheless how we are being perceived.

When you’re perceived as weak, you’ll be constantly tested to see to what extent you’ll give up and give in. That is what Russia is doing now, and they are not alone. Many other countries are joining right in, and why wouldn’t they? America has got all the money.

This is the world market. Of course others would like to be in our shoes. But national interest isn’t even being considered.

It’s all a very, very big and huge sign that things are very wrong, in Donald Trump’s America. Very.

This concerns us all. It’s a slippery slope leading right to the end of our position of world leadership if we’re not careful. We’re in trouble on many different levels right now, and all of them are based on a steady attack on our nation’s institutions by its own president.

National interest demands the removal of these people before things get any worse.
