Return of the Russians! Instagram Trolls Infest Team Buttigieg- What’s Pete’s Plan?

Warning! The Russians have returned and returned in earnest. They are BACK- on Instagram, and for Pete Buttigieg. This one’s going out to the entire online Democratic coalition- the moment we’ve all been training for has arrived. The scum are back for more.

Watch for them everywhere-but most especially, watch out for them on Instagram, where they’ve just begun a fresh campaign by infiltrating Buttigieg’s online community.

This is the front of suspected Russian hacker @potus_pete2020’s Instagram profile; meme phrasing by yours truly. Anti Biden on the right, anti Yang in the center, pro-Russia on the left. Nothing pro-Pete Buttigieg whatsoever; he even misspells his name.

They’re on Instagram instead of Facebook right now for the most part, but other than that it is the same old pack as always. There’s been one other change as well, an extremely cunning one. They chose to enter the fray through a man no one has yet suspected- the so-called moderate from a red state, Pete Buttigieg, through a platform the most experienced anti-disinfo forces know the least about and have the least presence on.

When I found this, and had gathered enough evidence to make it worth the warning, my first instinct was to do something to help. We are Joe Biden supporters here at Millennial Democrats, but beyond all else, we serve the Party itself as the one force capable of keeping America’s vast empire intact. This race has been nothing like 2016 so far; we’d better keep it that way, I reasoned.

Therefore, I reached out to a friend of mine who works with their campaign in regard to Russian disinformation. I showed him the evidence and gave him my ideas. But when I asked if he was willing to work on it with me to get Pete to listen, even lend a hand, I received a nasty shock, one that has left me questioning a man who just yesterday I was planning to drop an article on, by some variant on Pete “Plan B” Buttigieg. If not Biden, I always thought Mayor Pete would be the second-best.

Then his supporter told me the following.

But I’m not. I’ve said all I can really say about it. I trust the IC {intelligence community) to do the work. Americans learn, change, and go from there. They have access to more information than we ever would.

Well, sir, I can tell you for my own part, foreign criminal hackers including Guccifer 2.0 have tried to hack me over twelve hundred times. The intelligence community never gave me a call even once. We must warn the other candidates and the people as well. A famous Russian troll farm, Green Floid LLC, just tried hacking me yesterday. It’s been in the news many times and is located in Florida-which is also where Muratov lives. I don’t believe in coincidences anymore.

The real question is, is this just a Buttigieg supporter talking out of school, or is he really parroting Pete himself? We need a statement on it just as fast as we can get; this will be the definitive question if we can force him to answer it.

I’ve always liked Pete. I want to give him a chance to do the right thing.

If he flubs it, it can only be due to two factors. Either he’s a cowardly idiot or he’s owned by the Russians and by Facebook; he just met with Zuckerberg last month- and a week later, there are trolls online named things like @potus_pete2020 spreading memes like this around.

Provided by Russian hacker @potus_pete2020 on Instagram.
This is most likely the real @potus_pete2020. Big scientist, tons of degrees- just like all my hackers. Same crew; in fact, Muratov below lives in the same part of Florida as one of my recent hackers, famous troll farm GreenFloid, LLC. Coincidence? Uncertain but likely.
This guy Muratov is a big fancy scientist with a million degrees; everyone else on his site seems either to be his fellow hacker’s bot accounts or someone legitimate. They hide among us and are cybernetic predators.

What’s the plan, would-be Potus Pete? We’re up against it. Your people, the American people, are not safe. These people came here and held fake blacktivist rallies to which they came heavily armed. If that supporter spoke for you correctly, I think that’s just sickening. After all that we went through in 2016? How dare you not take this seriously?

The Russian plan is simple, clever, and a very bad sign for us. They’re heading over to Instagram, the other major platform owned by Facebook where no one is watching for it, and they’ve chosen the campaign of someone who was thought to be a real Democrat. We have all got to get over to Instagram immediately; not to argue with the trolls or debate them, but to expose them, and mass-report them right offline.

This will not be that hard; after all, we have learned from them, and all too well at that. They’ve been going for less than three weeks. But we’ve got to go and do it right away because otherwise, they can badly hurt us. Regulations there are all but nonexistent.

It’s more like Facebook in 2016, and just as then, they are spreading new anti-Democratic filth over every inch. It was the Wild Wild West in here last time; we now have to shift gears completely after all this time training on Twitter and Facebook and add Instagram to our daily routine as well. We really have our work cut out for us.

But here I’ve got this guy telling me all about why we should all forget about it and go back to bed. Wow.

The whole conversation left me feeling troubled. The guy seemed like a chatbot. “Be like Pete”? That’s creepy! His followers seem to see him as a saintly figure; I haven’t seen the like since Bernie Sanders ran in 2016; his campaign has been eerily quiet, as has even Tulsi Gabbard’s.

Buttigieg just met with Mark Zuckerberg a few months ago and hired two staffers on his recommendation. I seriously have to wonder if they really planned this out.

Be like Pete.

You can tell how much @potus_pete2020 really cares about you, Mayor Pete, so what’s the plan? Will you show some guts and backbone, or not? History will judge you accordingly.

You would think Buttigieg would know better than to think Putin and Co. will ever accept him; even Mark Zuckerberg his old friend is certain to hold him in contempt, they’re just using him to try and hurt Joe Biden and spread mistrust and discord through the Party.

On Reddit and 4chan they call him Butt Gig and vie to exceed each other in vile displays of typed-out homophobia. Putin himself has forbidden Russian parents to tell their children gay people even exist.

Butt Gig.

You’d think he’d rather stick with us and be Boot-a-Judge a while longer- but from what his guy was saying, it doesn’t exactly sound like it.

“[A]n American Majority like what Pete is building will drown out the Russians. We are spending our time reaching people directly in the real world. Social media is not the real world.”

Note his hint of condescension; I’m in the real world; you’re just online. News flash, Pete fan: There is no actual distinction between the “real world” and the online “world”. This is not a Philip K. Dick novel or a Cartesian discourse; just a regular old Democratic one.

Social media is now being used by half of Earth’s population; Instagram and Facebook alone have three billion members. Cars, construction equipment, weapon systems- everything is online these names. They’ve even got a term for that; the Internet of Things. In fact, practically every aspect of human customization of the planet now takes place online. Computers and what’s inside their screens are very much a part of this world, and what happens on them has real-and often massive-effects on the offline, or “real”, world.

The Arab Spring toppled dictators all across the realm, and it never would have happened without Twitter. Likewise, Brexit and Trump rocked the global order like a one-two combination. Social media manipulation campaigns led by Russians in both cases paved the way for domestic radicals on both sides of the spectrum. They were as big a single factor as any other in why we lost in 2016.

Are you really telling us to close our eyes here, Pete?

It’s a great tool, but simply by engaging with bots and trolls, we feed them and move them further up in the algorithm. People are learning how to recognize these things by themselves. We are Americans, we want to figure things out for ourselves, and it takes time. In the background the intelligence Community are full of civil servants that are fighting the cyber war all day, every day. Even Twitter removes thousands of fake accounts every day, and no longer does political ads. And anyone who becomes part of the Pete Family becomes aware of all of this very quickly.

Pete, we’re not trying to argue with the trolls. We’re trying to get them offline, out of our country, and a trillion miles out of our political system. And we’re building a case profile that will allow future generations to start figuring out a way to solve this nihilistic, “post-truth” way of life.

That’s not how you “bump somebody up on the algorithm”.

Look here, guys. You’ve been warned. You know, or will know very soon, that we are right. If you go check out @potus_pete’s Instagram profile, it’s all right there. Check out Muratov on his Followers list. Besides, from what my old pal was saying, it sounded very much like he already knew; he even said so, as you will later see.

Getting back to these days, the same old crud as always caught my eye.

Cheesy memes, tons of misspellings, including even the candidate’s name; you’re going to tell me that a guy named @potus_pete2020 and posts for the man all day long cannot remember how to spell his name? They’re laughing at us.

This picture is indicative of the Russian tactical shift. Guys like @potus_pete2020 are disrupting these days not on Facebook which is too locked down, but on Instagram which also hosts a billion people out of the planet’s seven. It’s not being looked at. We must change that, and quick.
Let’s take a closer look at what all that print up there is really saying.

First off, Buttigeg?
You’re telling me you’re an extreme, radically partisan supporter of this man, but you can’t even spell his name?
Second, PeteforAmerica- dot OM?
In 2016 the Russians snared all KINDS of people with fake YouTube, fake USAToday, fake everything. That’s a dead link now. My guess is it’s soon to be something else, and probably something ugly. Sure, I could report him, and I will do so eventually regardless, but it’s not just him that is the problem. It’s his whole team. I found dozens more like our dear @potus_pete2020 in his Followers list.
Russian hackers are very racist.
After seeing those pictures about oneself, you’d have to be insane not to want these guys taken offline. When they’re using my name, and they’re appearing hundreds deep one day? You’d better get your head checked-and yet, Pete seems completely stable. We’re not talking about Howard Dean here.
Millennial Democrats would also like to express our strongest possible concern about the Buttigieg campaign hiring staff recommended by Mark Zuckerberg. After all the crooked things that Trump has done, the country’s got to heal. We cannot be the next crooks, and if we get in bed with that lot. The billionaire founder of Facebook is being credited literally as his shadow manager. Buttigieg hired several staff members on Zuckerberg’s suggestion.
Dustin Moskowitz is a billionaire co-founder of Zuckerberg’s, and he gave 1.5 million to MoveOn.org just before Zack Exley took off to start Bernie’s campaign. It has been suppressing moderate Democrats for years. The first time we wrote about it was when the unfair Group restrictions started. Then as now, we were treated like criminals and were all on restriction and in Facebook Jail constantly. “How Russians Silence Democrats on Facebook With Impugnity.” was its title. Needless to say, that bitter saga continues.
Of course, everyone knows Instagram is owned by Facebook? Maybe? Well, they do now. So notice Zuckerberg is doing nothing over there, even while he crushes us with every legal tactic he’s allowed to.
One likely scenario is that they’ve ditched the Bern as useless and joined up with this guy.
This is from a second alt-right troll on Instagram, @harold.balls. But it’s got a certain horrifying logic about it too. “Be like Pete” is just creepy.

Pete, you have got to get ahead of this if you want to maintain the support and respect of your base. You’ve got to stand up, be a man and take responsibility for the safety of this country and its people. Show some damn integrity. That’s what the President does, not sit around and spin up cheap excuses.

The IC [intelligence community of the United States] didn’t know what the problem was. It is different now. I’ve watched every hearing the IC has been involved in on capital hill. They are working with other countries who know about this stuff. They are doing work now that they didn’t know they needed to do before. They can’t be perfect all the time.

The intelligence community knew a lot that could have helped us. But it’s not their job to tell people. It’s the president’s job, which is why our work is being done. So I told him that and asked for his help.

This is what he said to me, Mayor Pete.

But I’m not. I’ve said all I can really say about it. I trust the IC to do the work. Americans learn, change, and go from there. They have access to more information than we ever would.

America deserves to know if he was speaking for you.

Remember this guy, my ninth hacker, Sergey “Guccifer 2.0.” Morgachev?

Holy shit.
This man, who has been on the FBI Cyber Most Wanted list, made the ninth hacking attempt against Millennial Democrats. He is a GRU officer and one of the twelve Russian nationals charged by Robert S. Mueller III on July 13, 2018. I guess he didn’t like me.

Once you have a guy like this, a world-famous criminal, trying to take you out personally because you’ve blown the whistle on his master, perhaps you get a perspective this man was lacking. Morgachev was one of Robert Mueller’s Russian Dozen charged 7/13/18, for operating the “Guccifer 2.0” apparatus. He got drowned out fine, back in 2016- to the point where everybody forgot he was there. And so, look at what happened. The IC never gave me a call, this or twelve hundred other times.

No way have we spent all this time fighting Russian disinformation just to turn a blind eye because it’s Pete Buttigieg doing it. If it were Joe Biden, I would be fighting every bit as hard against him. But it’s not.

We cannot continue to be slobs about this. Our parents taught us that when you see a filthy mess, you clean it up. You don’t just sit there, waiting for someone else to. That is not the American way. Trump has let the problem sit in piles on the rug, and small wonder, since it’s all being done on his behalf! He wouldn’t warn the people if he were paid to; two hundred thousand dollars is not much money compared to what Putin can offer.

If the generation that gave us George Washington and James Madison had just sleepily yawned, rolled over and said **** it, we would still be part of the British Empire and might have never ended slavery. Resigning ourselves to profane inertia is not our answer here.

#BeLikePete, he told me. That’s their slogan.

Be like Pete? I’ll decide after I hear what he himself has to say about this. We must force a public statement out of him.

Because if this is who Pete Buttigieg is, then Pete Buttigieg is the enemy. He’s Bernie Lite.

Pete here can either disavow this supporter’s analysis and do what is needed to purge those fake Russians off his side, or he can go down in history as a greasy weasel. If he keeps letting these trolls walk on us, he’s every bit as worthless in Donald Trump, and I will fight him just as hard as I defended him before.
Thank You For Not Lying!
Thank You For Not Lying!
His follower spoke of his ideas about an “American Majority”; sounds good.
Built on such a foundation, it will prove about as stable as a beehive in a blizzard.

A president with no concern for national security is no president at all.

We have a saying: #BeLikePete.

So when we see something like that, we don’t engage, we report and block.

Pete says the only way we can win is if we deserve to win.

For the record, we block trolls too, sir. Tens of thousands of them-literally.

In some ways, it’s the hallmark of a good politician to be able to slither and evade. But this is going way too far. It’s irresponsible. There has not been a concerted assault like this since the 2016 primary- and here we are in the 2020 primary season. Now is the time to be most concerned, not least.

Do you say you don’t attack Democrats, Pete? Fantastic. Then you’ll naturally understand the need to work together in ridding both the election cycle and the planet of crap like this. America is waiting, would-be POTUS. What’s the plan?

This picture, taken from the profile of a probably-Russian bot, @potus_pete2020, disrupting these days not on Facebook which is too locked down, but on Instagram which also hosts a billion people out of the planet’s seven. It’s not being looked at. We must change that, and quick.
More anti-Democratic garbage from @potus_pete2020, new Russian troll on Instagram-where nobody is looking.

How Bernie Bots Became Warren Weevils-A Far Left Metamorphosis.

Ah, socialists. Trying to disembowel us yesterday was a blast, wasn’t it? Just like the good old days, back in 2016. You swarming our Facebook Page by the thousands, trolling on behalf of neo-progressive ideas that would bankrupt the country, and my team and I refuting you for hours- What a wonderful way to spend our time! My favorite people in the world, the old Bernie or Bust crew, reanimated from the spirit world and filled with agonizing life and purpose in the Warren campaign. Perhaps feeling the Bern has turned you all into Walking Dead extras; made in the image of your maker. Collectively you’re like someone crossbred Frankenstein with a good old fashioned zombie plague. If nothing else, I will congratulate you all for your consistency. You’re the best reason possible to endorse someone else, especially since we’ve got a good man like Joe Biden to choose from.

Yesterday when we published an article regarding Elizabeth Warren’s awful decision to cast her lot with you guys, the Justice Democrats trying to primary good Democrats out, you sure were mad! It was like taking out a hornet’s nest. Come on, be honest. Didn’t it remind you of your bygone glory days? We were fighting for the most qualified candidate ever to run for president in Hillary Clinton, you were hacking at us with machetes made of (mostly false) data on behalf of the incompetent Bernie Sanders and his hazily defined “democratic” socialism, and together we all fell off the cliff into the Trump era. It sure did us. What a nice trip down Memory Lane it was yesterday, I thought, as you cursed and reviled me for hours. Then I heard you lot are planning to run a Sanders/Warren Warren/Sanders ticket. At that, of course, I became disgusted. You think you’re going to obliterate Trump with that combination. What you’ll really be destroying is the Democratic Party.

Marianne Williamson was caught on a hot mic by a disingenuous radio host recently, but what she said was priceless even if she was trapped into it. “What does it say that Fox News is nicer to me than the lefties are?” We could have told you, ma’am. You might also want to ask AM Joy Reid. She’s had her own run-ins with these people, and therefore knows exactly what it’s like to see progressives in the way of progress.

How it gladdens my heart (NOT!:) to be returning with you to those halcyon days! It warms my heart to watch you all put in your hours for the Trump 2020 reelection campaign; his best chance lies in silently pointing at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of the Squad not bothering to even say a word. You got what you wanted back then, and burned us all to the ground rather than suck it up for the good of your country, Bernie Bots. Now you wish to make us lions among lemmings once again. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, though. We have no choice at this point but to take the kid gloves off; you show us how necessary that is every day. I was warned by a friend during the last election that Vote Blue No Matter Who was the wrong way to go. Later I realized he was right and that your ghoulish horde had taken me in. This time I will raise awareness about you though the heavens fall.

As for the overwhelming majority of the rest of America, you friends of ours out there who know why American socialism must be fought without any hope of compromise, you all know what I mean. The only reason there is a prayer in hell for this country’s liberal, democratic future, the only reason we can even talk about socialism or economic inequality instead of going to jail or gulag or concentration camp, is because of the successes scored by “capitalism”, which is not a governmental system at all, but a source of raw power called the world’s free market. Saving it was the most critical, and understated, reason why the Blue Wave last year was globally critical to the dire extent that it was. Attempting to lock it down and place it under control of unqualified bureaucrats gave us both the Nazis and the Communists, and the hundred million dead bodies they produced between them in the horrifyingly bloody twentieth century (Courtois, Stephane, The Black Book of Communism). Socialism is best defined as a very bad way to solve a problem. Socialism is tying your shoes with noodles. It’s putting handcuffs on your horse.

People in this country have rightly abhorred a system in which government is all-intrusive and centralized unreasonably, which of course is what a fully planned, socialist society entails by logical necessity. Every aspect of the people’s life must be carefully chosen for them, according to the will of the planner. When this is the case, the entire apparatus of government, including Max Weber’s key ingredient of state-sponsored force, is like a house with keys, waiting for a master to come claim it. Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin, Benito Mussolini, Pol Pot. The most vicious people in the history of all mankind were not so because of any genetic flaw inherent in their inner architecture. They were so because they fell under the spell of a strongman, and only partially because of his personal charisma.

With all a nation’s might consolidated in his hand, the strongman dictator can control the flow of data using propaganda and disinformation of the time we see used all the time by actors from Vladimir Putin’s Russia and Xi Jinping’s China. In both cases, their systems offer their leaders a chance to rule under conditions where he faces no checks and balances. Oligarchy, state capitalism, controlled democracy, corporate socialism. All are different forms of a hybrid system challenging Enlightenment democracies like America’s for worldwide domination. Over here it has been introduced to the public by kindly-looking faces like Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and, most recently, Elizabeth Warren. She sold us out big time by sucking up the socialist Justice Democrats last Monday, then sunk the hook by holding a rally there the very next day. Raising awareness about Warren’s choice to step even further into the socialist camp is therefore a duty we cannot delegate elsewhere.

It should be accepted as axiomatic that socialism in America should be resisted at all cost if we do not wish to share the fate of Germany (National Socialism; Nazi is short for NationalsoZialist), or worse, Russia- which became after World War I the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. It should also be taken as a fact that the threat is very dire; many believe that Trump is doing all he can from the right to weaken and co-opt American checks and balances, just as Viktor Orban’s Hungary has displayed as a model. Orban, by the way, was invited to speak here in Washington D.C. last spring and did so. Two out of three modern states are not democracies, and in them, we see many common factors at play in our society, in danger of a democratic collapse unlike any seen before. Things revert to the old way of bosses so big they’re basically kings and the legislative body nothing more than a rubber-stamp to serve as the neo-king’s pseudo-democratic showpiece.

This can also work with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as Amnesty International or the Human Rights Watch. Intergovernmental organizations can also be rubber-stamps for dictators. Prototypes like the Communist Internationale was for the Soviets after Stalin’s time was passed. and the Reichstag for Hitler have given way to Iron Curtain socialist treaties after the war. The tendency of IGOs to be used in this matter is as socialist as both Hitler and Stalin were, which is to say, socialists right to the core. They each wanted to plan out every aspect of the lives of their citizens, and were willing to put them to unimaginable torment if they did not toe the line. Socialism is inherently built with that tendency inside it, like a time bomb. Evidence from everyplace on earth suggests that the result of planning a society, regardless of how noble and sincere the revolutionary aims of the original planners, economic equality and all, is exactly the opposite of what they were aiming at. Socialism has failed at every turn.

The trouble in this specific instance, however, is not even the merits and flaws of socialism itself. We’re not even close to having that conversation, but the Justice Democrats do not understand that, or any of this. That’s trouble in its purest form, and in copious amount. It’s been trouble for years, and we were finally starting to see the end of it. Bernie Sanders 2020 is a shipwreck and the Bots haven’t even been bothering to defend him or that for quite a while now. I’ve been wondering about that for a number of reasons but condensed to one they amount to this: reality has never bothered them before. Why now?

I didn’t get it until yesterday when I published a piece criticizing sharply Elizabeth Warren’s decision to ally with a Justice Democrat candidate in the TX-28 Representative Race. Shortly before I’d made a meme that stated frankly that “You sold us out, Liz.” Upon seeing this, they multiplied in thousands within minutes-literally. Under an hour, and it was as if we had killed an Africanized bee. “Liar! Russian bot! Stream of purified obscenity!” They were pretty wild, all right. Here is something sent to me by a Bernie Bot-turned-Warren Weevil today.

[Millennial Democrats] Contact MD
Why the hell have you dropped me from being able to comment on any of your posts? Do you not enjoy being called out to support your stance? Unless i get some reply from you guys, i will make it my mission to out you to the world for beings the bots you are.

This person, who we’ll call June Apple for reasons she will recognize if she’s out there, might want to listen up. Threatening people you do not know is very dangerous; finding your personal data took me exactly seven minutes and fifty-two seconds; suuuuuper easy. I knew it would be; you’re just that type. To prove a point I actually set a timer. Here is a look at what that means if you do it to someone more hardnosed or unstable than yours truly. It’s called doxing, e.g.getting targeted in real life for things that happened online.

June Apple- Age 670. Retired. City, State- Camp Davis, California. Phone number- 5**-7*3-73*3. Address: 818** Ho*g*ass Ave. Email address: JrApple15@yahoo.com.

Hey, hackers who are after me, that’s her real data, right there. She’s a leftist too; knock yourselves out getting to it. Take your time, it will help you.

As for you, Ms. Apple, I am shaking my head at the sloven you displayed in making this sacred vow of destruction- and then warning me about it. Dangerous! Good God, Jim! Why, Lord, do you place it on my heart to educate my Fury-like persecutors? Can’t they do anything for themselves? Holy Moly, ma’am. If you’re going to make it your life’s mission to destroy people often, can you please promise me you will be more careful about it? I could have found fifty thousand ways to break your back for this; VERY good thing for you it was only the kindhearted me. You are a Democrat and as such I harbor no wish to shatter you; you were banned, according to our social media coordinator, for being obnoxiously pro-Warren (not that you were alone). Respectful dissent is welcome; viciousness and slander are not. Please, June. In the future be less of a slob.

Sloppy, slovenly and bloodthirsty; these are the hallmarks of the Bernie Bot, and always have been. Ugly as their conduct has been these last few days, it hasn’t been unusual. On the contrary, this was completely typical. The vehemence and lack of reason these leftist trolls showed during the frenzied attack they made left no doubt in my mind at all. The Bots are still around and there’s more of them than ever, they’ve merely switched form, like eggs becoming pupae on their way to Camp Warren. I propose the term “Warren Weevils” therefore to record and raise awareness about this newest manifestation of the same old loony left. Here’s what kind of feedback we got, before half an hour had gone by. Take a good look, folks, and ask yourselves in earnest: Is this really something that you want anything to do with? You can take it on faith that middle America will be horrified, though. You’ll be burning (berning) us right to the ground.

Bernie Bots have become Warren Weevils. Spread the word.
Bernie Bots have become Warren Weevils. Spread the word.

For the record, nothing is more dangerous than calling everyone you don’t agree with a Russian Bot, since this makes it all the easier for Russia and China to hide their true disinformation kits and blur the lines of truth all the more.

The situation summarized is this: the Bernie Bots and other sundry extremists have coalesced around Warren, summoned an alliance with their natural temperamental allies in the Woman or Bust sect that has recently been forming, and will soon proceed to try and consume Joe Biden, the lone champion of public resistance to insane socialist policies. This is why Biden must receive our vehement support, and at once. If the neo-progressives are allowed to fully hijack the Party, it will be a long term disaster. It will tarnish the Party’s reputation for calm strategy and iron loyalty once and for all. This cannot be allowed.

We had not planned to have to go this route; we weren’t going to declare for almost three/fourths of a year right now. It was only when I noticed that when combining forces, Bern and Warren are in control of almost half the party’s support that I realized we might actually be in trouble if they joined in full alliance, which Warren all but signed in blood last week when endorsing a Justice Democrat in her attempt to primary out a real one, Henry Cuellar. We had hopes for a time of Warren making Biden a good vice, but going down this road indicates a worst-case scenario. If a Warren/Sanders She had never aligned herself directly with the people who since the moment of their organization’s inception have done nothing but run down Democrats and make efforts to knock us off at every turn, such as Joe Crowley who was most famously unseated in an upset victory by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. I predicted at that time that her strategists, who are revolutionary-minded, Che Guevara obsessed hipsters, would move in accordance with guerilla warfare principles by using Ocasio-Cortez as an outpost, a springboard from which to launch new attacks and further advance their assault on our Party. This has indeed been the case and could soon become a flood if we do not take the proper precautions. Starting now and from this day onward, tell everyone you know. Their rabies have hybridized and become treatment-resistant. Do not bother trying to reason with them. That is what killed us in 2016. We’ve been living underground in trenches for years thanks to them.

We must organize as well as we are able. Old grudges must be put aside for now if moderate Democrats like us are to succeed in holding the center, and this we must do at any cost. They are not capable of using the power wisely, if they get it. Retributive pettiness has always been the socialist way; Alexander Solzhenitsyn of Russia was given eight years by the Soviets in the Gulag Archipelago his three-volume book immortalized by name, for writing a letter criticizing Stalin’s tactical planning during World War II. This is what they do, Democrats. It just is.

Their ugliness, slander, and viciousness knows no bounds; note the hacker who most recently tried sent a death threat by email to someone else as recently as June. I will note that this is the most vicious and versatile computer criminal who has ever tried to hack me, and those are not words to be spoken lightly. They have tried to take us down everywhere from St. Petersburg, Russia to Hangzhou, China, more than a thousand times. Yet this guy is the only one known already for making death threats to other WordPress users, users we would be highly interested in speaking to and hearing the stories of. Here is a picture of what we have been up against, just today and with only one of many. Frenzied hatred. Murderous rage.

This is the most vicious hacker yet, also almost certainly from China; note and compare the timestamps in the photo; when it's 6 p.m. here, it's 1 a.m. there. Used Tor nodes so as to throw off geolocation. Only hacker I know of reported for threatening others with death.
This is how I found out that after we spent hours being threatened and spammed by Bernie Bots-turned-Warren Weevils the most vicious hacker yet, also almost certainly from China, tried to get us on their likely behalf. Why China? Look and compare the timestamps in the photo; when it’s 6 p.m. here, it’s 1 a.m. there. Used Tor nodes so as to throw off geolocation. Only hacker I know of reported for threatening others with death.
A look at where this hacker is from will give you an idea of his skill level; this is no Australian flower store owner like the hackers of the past. He uses Tor Browser, a naval intelligence encryption browser that gives you access to the deep web, providing total anonymity. Next you will see what an incredibly wide variety of assault tactics he is fluent in. Very dangerous to have a guy like this wanting you dead. Watch for the death threat he sent someone else in the next exhibit.

And there you have it; a psychopathic hacker sending emails threatening murder. Whether or not you agree with me isn't the point. I am an American, your countryman. If Warren does win, these same people will be attacking you. Be careful, fellow Democrats, not to make a devil's bargain. We are not enemies in my eyes, just opponents for now. I don't want to see you lot get killed, even if you don't return my sentiments.

A good seven other bruteforce attacks have also taken place, just in the last twenty-four hours. Many, like the one you see above with no geolocation visible, are able to do that because they are now using Tor, unlike in the past when Russian and Chinese hackers would ping us directly from IP addresses associated with foreign intelligence services. They’ve got the KGB after me, basically. All for telling the truth to Americans regarding American politics! By now it should be clear to anyone with the tiniest lick of sense that the hard fighting will soon begin again. When it does we are going to have to come together. It’s either that or be obliterated. For it is time to make no mistake about it; we are one another’s final hope. These people, to state it simply, are preparing to engage us in a death-struggle, an ideological death-struggle, with the naked lust for power motivating them and driving on their efforts. They have ordered their followers to fix bayonets. We are absolutely all we have. For my part, I will work with and do ANYTHING I can for the people who are planning to be down in these trenches when it comes time to resist. Feel free to get ahold of us, allies, and if not us, somebody. Please get together, folks, and organize, for one thing is for sure. They are coming.

How Putin Felt The Bern- Detailing Russian Interference In The Sanders Campaign.

The name of Bernie Sanders did not appear on the ballot in a single state during the 2016 general election. But a large share of the blame for this disaster that is the current administration lies squarely on his shoulders.

The Bernie or Bust movement was a nightmare, the blatant racism and sexism shown by his campaign were a worse one. But in terms of national security, however, worst of all was the Russian support, particularly on social media, that kept his campaign alive long past the point of reason.

Using illegally acquired data from Wikileaks, emails that suggested little wrongdoing, the Russians successfully goaded Bernie, and his supporters showed his anger on the streets of Philadelphia, while inside the Democratic National Convention, Paul Simon played the first notes of “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”.

Bernie’s conduct, when questioned about this, has been defensive and rude, and this reaction has added to the number of raised questions that linger to this day about where the senator stands on the shadowy foreign figures who were once involved with his campaign.

The evidence is clear that Sanders became the Ralph Nader of 2016, peeling off just enough votes from the Democratic candidate to spoil the election. All the chaos he created on the left drained just as much support away from Hillary Clinton as it took for Donald Trump to win. By this point, the proof is huge and glaring that he, and to a less well-known and effective extent, Jill Stein, allowed themselves to be used as Putin’s other puppets.

Putin's Other Puppets.
Putin’s Other Puppets.

We had hoped he would be smart enough not to split the whole left by running again, but that is not going to be the case. So now that Bernie Sanders has formally declared his candidacy, a bad but not unexpected move, we’re coming across a lot of different questions regarding what manner of man he is.

Is he a socialist? Yes. He’s been calling himself a “Democratic Socialist” since the 1960’s. The word “Democratic” is not a qualifier; it is better off deleted. He means he’s a socialist, plain and simple.

Is he less than one hundred years old? We’re not sure, but he claims to be. Birth records support this claim, technically, but not by much.

Is he an escaped Walking Dead extra? No one can say for certain, either way.

All of these are good questions, and the disturbing answers to them raise serious concerns about his viability to compete in a general election. But the big questions are these. How much damage did Bernie Sanders do in 2016, and how bad were the Russians infested in his campaign apparatus?

The question of just how big of an effect did the Sanders campaign have on the final election can be gauged by looking at how bad he hurt her in the swing states where American elections are decided. Take a look at these numbers from 2016 Democratic primary exit polls taken from West Virginia- not a swing state, but dramatic and indicatory nonetheless.

Forty four percent is nearly half the Bernie supporters who voted in the West Virginian primary.
Forty-four percent! Nearly half the Bernie supporters who voted in the West Virginian primary planned to later vote for Trump. That speaks for itself.

In the three states that put Trump in the Oval Office, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, a high number of voters who voted for Sanders in the Democratic primary in those states crossed over and voted for Trump in the general election.

One in ten, to be exact. We’re talking thousands of people here. Registered Democrats who went so far as to actually vote for Trump.

Is it true that he and his campaign were involved in the Russian plot to interfere with our 2016 presidential election? The one that Trump says was fake news, but was actually so real it’s truly awful?

The answer to that question is a resounding yes, and we’re going to make the case for it thoroughly.

Let’s start by taking a look at the Russian motive, means, and modus operandi for giving Bernie Sanders a hand against Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democratic presidential primary.

Motive: Vladimir Putin wanted to cost Hillary Clinton the election, by any means necessary. The most effective, obvious, and accessible ways for him to do it was to give her opponents a hand.

One of these opponents was Donald Trump, the obvious recipient of most of Putin’s goodwill. Another, Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, was physically present at the infamous December of 2015 dinner meeting with former National Security Adviser and Retired General Michael Flynn.  The third, and the focus of this article was Bernie Sanders, her primary opponent.

Michael Flynn dines with Russian President Vladimir Putin and far-left Green Party 2016 US Presidential election candidate Jill Stein. This dinner is a good look at what it looks like at the exact moment where the far left and the alt-right converge.

Michael Flynn dining with Russian President Vladimir Putin and far-left Green Party 2016 US Presidential election candidate Jill Stein. This dinner is a good look at what it looks like at the exact moment where the far left and the alt-right converge.

Former U.S. officials who worked on Russia policy with Clinton have laid out the reasons for this in detail. Vladimir Putin, of course, is the multibillionaire dictator of Russia who paid for all this to take place.

Hillary Clinton strongly condemned the validity of Russia’s parliamentary elections in December of 2011. This made Putin very unhappy. He had his anger communicated directly to President Barack Obama.

Politico’s Michael Crowley put the case together days after the riot-causing WikiLeaks email dumps in July 2016.

“Former U.S. officials who worked on Russia policy with Clinton say that Putin was personally stung by Clinton’s December 2011 condemnation of Russia’s parliamentary elections, and had his anger communicated directly to President Barack Obama. They say Putin and his advisers are also keenly aware that, even as she executed Obama’s “reset” policy with Russia, Clinton took a harder line toward Moscow than others in the administration. And they say Putin sees Clinton as a forceful proponent of “regime change” policies that the Russian leader considers a grave threat to his own survival.”

“He was very upset [with Clinton] and continued to be for the rest of the time that I was in government,” said Michael McFaul, who served as the top Russia official in Obama’s national security council from 2009 to December 2011 and then was U.S. ambassador to Moscow until early 2014. “One could speculate that this is his moment for payback.”

He ended up getting it, but not without a lot of domestic help. It came from the far left, and it came from the alt-right, suggesting strongly what we strongly believe: The alt-right and the far left are one.

Trump's SOTU Cheered for Anti-Socialist Theme he stole from us.
Trump and Bernie- Two sides of the same coin.

Means: Vladimir Putin may well be the richest man on Earth, by some estimates having more money than Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos combined. He more then had the means to pull off a job like this.

Hermitage Capital Management CEO Bill Browder told the Senate Judiciary Committee that he believes the Russian president is “the richest man in the world” with a net worth of $200 billion.

A spokesperson for the publication told Town and Country Magazine that was because they haven’t been able to figure it out. “While Forbes has been able to track money tied to Putin’s allies, we have not been able to come up with a defensible, provable estimate of his net worth.”

Everything that belongs to the territory of the Russian Federation Putin considers to be his,” exiled Russian banker Sergei Pugachev told the Guardian (Pugachev once earned the nickname “Putin’s banker.”) He said that “any attempt to calculate [Putin’s net worth] won’t succeed. He’s the richest person in the world until he leaves power.”

For a guy like this, throwing a few tens or even hundreds of millions into manipulating the elections of other countries to make them more amenable to Russian interests is nothing. It would almost be strange if he didn’t do it.

Putin has paid for “destability” campaigns worldwide. The far right is not alone among radicals in getting plenty of Russian assistance. The far left, which has shown just as strong a resurgence as its counterpart since the Great Recession happened, is also getting more than its fair share. Russia, it seems, is never short of rubles to spend on troublemaking.

Thank You For Not Lying!
Thank You For Not Lying!

Director of the Political Capital Institute Peter Kreko has been recently involved in research regarding this matter. He concluded two facts about the intentions of Putin. First, that he is becoming the frontman of a worldwide anti-human rights movement, and second, that he is investing in, stirring up, and inciting radicals on both ends of the spectrum that are trying to “sabotage democracy in Europe”.

Kreko describes Russian tactics focused on destabilizing the EU and advancing Moscow’s ideology. This includes supporting parties and candidates on the margins, such as Bernie Sanders, or Jill Stein and the Green Party.

In America, we are experiencing many problems with so-called progressives who are still insisting, in the face of the overwhelming evidence that keeps piling up, that “the Russia thing” is simply a distraction from the main issue, that in their view being how the DNC cheated Bernie Sanders (it didn’t). These people are doing the entire human race a grand disservice.

By turning a blind eye to the machinations of the most nakedly aggressive power to arise in the world since Hitler’s Third Reich, for the sake of stoking a petty grudge, they are in fact helping to make possible the same specific chaotic social conditions that in the past allowed far-right populist movements like Germany’s National Socialism to thrive.

Angry socialist gathers his forces for battle on his own Party.
Angry socialist gathers his forces for battle on his own Party.

They don’t understand that they are being duped by people who long ago grew cynical and full of boredom regarding the sorts of dreams and theories Bernie Sanders is espousing. After all, they invented most of it, and more a hundred years ago.

The left’s affiliation with the Kremlin can be explained better via the “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” principle. Marx long taught that Communists should make any such alliances as are helpful toward the ultimate goal of dissolving the State.  Russia’s state-controlled economy, which promises to keep “big capital” in check, has proved attractive as a model for many anti-capitalists.

Democratic Socialists, such as Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, have clearly labeled themselves as anti-capitalist. This would have made them extremely valuable to Soviet propagandists working from inside the KGB. It still does.

Modus Operandi: Hiring hackers to spread dirt and lies around to influence elections is part of the Russian toolkit. The 2016 plan was not a new strategy, but rather a direct descendant of the original Cheka Disinformation Office, founded by “Iron” Felix Dzherzhinsky in 1923. Working both ends of the radical spectrum, left and right, to destabilize the interior of an enemy country. That is what they do.

Harvard University’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs has a researcher named Ben Buchanan working for them, also a Global Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. The focus of his research lies in examining how nations use their capabilities for attack and espionage in cyberspace against one another and examining the strategies that drive this usage. His words in their unaltered form may help to shed some light.

“There is a demonstrated pattern of Russian cyber operations stretching back several decades. One major early case, dating from the late 1990s, is commonly referred to as Moonlight Maze. In that case, Russian hackers penetrated a wide range of American networks for espionage purposes. Since then, Russian cyber operations have continued to expand greatly, hacking into key military, political, and economic institutions.”

“These operations show adeptness in several ways. Perhaps most significant is that they demonstrate how the Russians have developed new digital methods to accomplish old tasks. A series of espionage cases show the Russian aptitude for gathering information using computer hacking. The 2007 attack on Estonia and 2008 attack on Georgia are an exhibit of how Russia uses cyber operations against democratic states. Though we have somewhat less information about it, the 2015 blackout in Ukraine—the first ever publicly known case of a power outage caused by cyber-attack—shows the potency of cyber-attacks that appear to be Russian in origin. And the 2016 election interference demonstrates that the Russians have married their longstanding history of influence operations with their more recently developed capacity for hacking.” -With thanks to the Wilson Center.

The particulars of how these political digital influence campaigns worked out in practice in the 2016 Democratic presidential primary will be only too memorial to any Democratic activist who was around in 2016. We’ve included an anecdote that sums up what they were trying for precisely.

Around September 14 in 2016, for example, one “account specialist” of a Russian-controlled Facebook group called “Secured Borders” was reprimanded for having a “low number of posts dedicated to criticizing Hillary Clinton.”

The specialist was also told, “it is imperative to intensify criticizing Hillary Clinton.”

Later on, Russian operatives used accounts they controlled — including an account called “Woke Blacks” and “Blacktivist” — to urge Americans to vote for third-party candidates or not to vote at all. “Choose peace and vote for Jill Stein,” one such message read. “Trust me, it’s not a wasted vote.”

Not for Russia, anyway.

No, indeed, Donald Trump was not the only candidate the Russians tried to help during the 2016 presidential campaign. One other name was mentioned specifically. Senator Bernard Sanders, I-VT. The Mueller indictments of a year ago offer solid confirmation of what we have been saying all along. The specific mention of Trump and Sanders shows that the Russian government decided early on to oppose Clinton.

A 37-page indictment resulting from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation makes it clear. Russian nationals and businesses definitely worked to boost the campaigns of Sen. Bernie Sanders and Green party nominee Jill Stein in an effort to damage Democrat Hillary Clinton, even as they did the same thing to Trump’s Republican opponents on the right.

The Russians “engaged in operations primarily intended to communicate derogatory information about Hillary Clinton, to denigrate other candidates such as Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, and to support Bernie Sanders and then-candidate Donald Trump,” according to the indictment, which was issued a year ago in February.

A personal anecdote, that I’ll admit to having shared before. The editor of Millennial Democrats was online alongside legions of others, out there for HRC from 2015 onward, every day, for many hours. Anyone who was there back then can tell you. It can be stated categorically that there was a tangible, palpable disinformation campaign going on against Hillary Clinton. It worked, too. The Bernie Bots truly hated us, and their viciousness knew no bounds at all.

This is what we're fighting.
This is who they are.

It still doesn’t.

In my experience, this blog and its affiliate Millennial Democrats Facebook Pages and Millennial Democrats Twitter account, which is a fifty state plus nationwide apparatus, has been attacked by Trump trolls maybe one out of ten in the ratio of how often it has been attacked by Bernie trolls. This has little to do with what side of the country we are talking about. It goes right across the board.

I’ve written in a 3 to 1 ratio of pieces targeting the right rather than the far left, although it is my deeply-held conviction and the conclusion pointed to by evidence that they are the same entity. But even when the week of Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation is taken into account this remains true. Any moderate Democratic activist online will tell you the same.

You would go into groups and talk to people, who were steadfast in their refusal to listen far beyond the bounds of reason or even fanaticism. These guys were professionals.

It was like they were getting paid per response. They all seemed to be equipped with the same list of hit points about Hillary Clinton. This became clear after a while because the very same slanders would be laid out every time, in sequential order. In many cases the wording was actually identical, although most took the time to switch about at least a thing or two. And they were just as prevalent on the left as on the right.

It got especially bad during the last month of the Democratic primary, which was a very horrible time filled with chaos and division.

During this time, we were savagely attacked. Anything we posted would be Reported as Spam/Abuse by political adversaries from both the alt-right and radical left. We were barraged with nasty messages and threats; as a matter of fact, we continue to get them. They just keep rolling in, day after day, month piled on top of month. It’s called gaslighting; they want to wear you down so you give up.

One particularly rabid group of Bernie Sanders supporters told one of our contributors that they hoped she was gang-raped.

The list is long, sick, and sordid. Drop by drop, it has convinced us to take an unequivocal stance of #NeverBernie– and stick to it.

Therefore, when we found out today that according to the indictment, Russia’s Internet Research Agency had a “strategic goal to sow discord in the US political system”,including the election, it was far from a surprise to us.
During the 2016 electoral cycle itself, nobody wanted to listen. Most Bernie supporters still will not listen; many today will actually go so far as to claim that Russia is participating in the campaign against Bernie.
This is the equivalent of a mugger calling for help as he snatches an old lady’s purse.
At any rate, back then, they could still lean smugly back and say, Show me the proof. Today, however, the evidence is laid flat out in any number of places, such as Robert Mueller’s February 2018 indictment of thirteen Russian nationals, who had posted “derogatory information about a number of candidates”.
They bought ads and communicated with people tied to the Trump campaign and others in order to coordinate political activities. They even went so far as to coordinate their activities on our soil.
The indictment also mentions a February 2016 memo to Internet Research Agency staff. The instructions given were to post political content on US social media sites and “use any opportunity to criticize Hillary and the rest (except Sanders and Trump — we support them).”
“Looks like we finally know for sure why Bernie would not vote to sanction Russia,” I wrote at the time, still in a state of shock at just how surreal it was for Bernie to reinforce all this by being one of two senators who refused to pass the bill for new sanctions in 2017.
He just called in sick for the vote to lift sanctions on close Putin ally Oleg Deripaska’s aluminum company recently. And this from a guy who very rarely misses work. Of the new crop of presidential candidates, only Elizabeth Warren has missed fewer votes than Bernie.
Bernie rarely misses work. But he did manage to be absent when it came time to vote to sanction Oleg Deripaska's aluminum company. Deripaska is a close friend and personal ally of Putin. He was also the owner of Paul Manafort's debt.
Bernie rarely misses work. But he did manage to be absent when it came time to vote to sanction Oleg Deripaska’s aluminum company. Deripaska is a close friend and personal ally of Putin. He was also the owner of Paul Manafort’s debt.

Unbelievably, he claimed he couldn’t show up for the Deripaska vote because he was meeting with the women who accused his campaign of sexual misconduct. Even the most rabid and dishonest and insane penner of political hit pieces could not make this stuff up. Truth really is stranger than fiction.

Bernie’s people have never wanted him to touch “the Russia thing”, and most even to this day will make claims about how “it’s not all about Russia” and we need to “Talk about the issues”. They want to laugh it off, even while when it comes time to talk about what Trump was doing. This is hypocritical. When Trump does it, it’s a big threat. But when Bernie does it, it’s as though it is just a little fun.
This gives you a look at how it was back then. It’s a Russian Twitter account called “Missouri News” (@MissouriNewsUS), which sent out pictures of Sanders and President Franklin Delano Roosevelt with the line “Bernie Sanders is basically a New Deal Democrat, #feeltheBern.”
Missouri News, a Russian troll account that Twitter has since deleted (they've been pretty cool about cleaning up their act, unlike Facebook or even worse You Tube) is shown here giving the Sanders campaign a hand.

Our entire intelligence community unanimously agrees that they’re targeting us. We know that they’ve been able to get malware into our power grids. We know also that they’re considered a complete menace in Europe, where they have demonstrated their ability to turn off the lights on huge swathes of Ukraine and take Estonia offline completely. But Bernie will not talk about it, so they simply will not look at it.
They will physically squirm in real life conversations. They remind me of Fox News devotees.
“A guy who was on my staff … checked it out and he went to the Clinton campaign, and he said, ‘You know what? I think these guys are Russians,’” Sanders said.
A former Clinton campaign staffer told Politico it was nonsense that Sanders’ campaign had reached out to Clinton’s about potential Russian interference. “No one from the Sanders campaign ever contacted us about this” — not in September, and not in “April and May.”
They never said or did a thing of that nature. Nothing of the sort ever happened. Not once. Not even after Bernie had offered his weak, half-throated endorsement of Hillary Clinton.
Guy on your staff, eh, Bernie? And just to think. All of this is before we’ve even mentioned Tad Devine.
Devine was Bernie’s chief campaign strategist, the most senior of advisers to the 2016 Sanders campaign. He was also the good friend and colleague of decades of Paul Manafort, who at the same time was running the Trump campaign. Devine was the first witness called at Manafort’s trial. Here is a picture of Tad Devine with Paul Manafort and the man suspected to be his contact within Russian intelligence, Konstantin Kilimnik, himself wanted by Mueller’s team for questioning and likely more.
Tad Devine and Paul Manafort together with Konstantin Kilimnik, the shadowy Ukrainian figure wanted for questioning by the special counsel Robert Mueller.
Tad Devine and Paul Manafort together with Konstantin Kilimnik, the shadowy Ukrainian figure wanted for questioning by the special counsel Robert Mueller.

The Washington Post’s Dana Milbank did a piece at the time, titled “The Deep Cynicism of Bernie Sanders’ Chief Strategist“. It pointed out how during his run as chief strategist for the Bernie Sanders presidential campaign, Devine was always the first to scream and howl about the corrupting influence of money in politics. He said “our economy is rigged,” that “special interests” buy politicians, that “all of the new wealth is going to the top of America,” that there is a “corrupt system of campaign finance” of which Hillary Clinton offered an “egregious” example.

Sanders, by contrast, “supported the little guy.”

But as we know by now, Devine had worked repeatedly to secure the election of one of the world’s most corrupt political figures and then his allies, Ukraine’s Viktor Yanukovych, a crooked pro-Putin autocrat.

Thanks to Mueller’s prosecution of Paul Manafort, who earlier this weekend saw a heavily redacted- to the tune of eight hundred pages- sentencing memo presented to the court on his behalf, the former Trump campaign chairman and business associate of Devine, we now have the glimpse of Devine’s possible role in organizing Russian help for Bernie.

Though he is hardly the first to grab cash from foreign leaders, the ease Devine had in making the switch from cold-blooded profiteer strategist to social reformer firebrand strategist seems reptilian to us in the very extreme. It’s exactly that type of bold callousness that the Russians would look for in an asset.

Tad Devine is a figure of great interest in the Russiagate investigation, in our opinion. We’ve been expecting the special counsel assigned by the Justice Department to look into Russian meddling in our 2016 election cycle, Robert Mueller, to get around to him sooner or later.

Put it this way: If Manafort is the key to understanding exactly what the Russians were doing for Trump, and Kilimnik is the key to understanding what Manafort did for the Russians, then Devine, their old friend, is the key to what the Russians were doing for Bernie. He is by far the most likely connection between the Russians and the Sanders campaign. It is our view that this connection has not been explored anywhere near thoroughly enough, and we encourage our readers to write in with what they know. We would make responsible use of it.

Radio Free Europe provides some light on the situation by providing a March 31, 2014 email from Tad Devine to Rick Gates, who in 2016 was the chief aide to Manafort, and later became a star witness against him.

There we find that Devine was the one to write Yanukovych’s 2010 victory speech. That detail was found attached to his email to Gates, in the form of a draft agreement for Manafort’s firm to work on another Ukrainian’s campaign.

That all these people know each other so well cannot be a coincidence. No wonder Trump the other day said “I like Bernie”, all atwinkle in his smiling eyes.

Although it has been very hard for Sanders followers to face this, it is our opinion that Devine too was working with the Russians and that Sanders most likely knew he was getting help from Russians to defeat Hillary Clinton. That help came in some very strange ways.

By the time the Fourth of July rolled around in 2016, the Federal Election Commission had repeatedly contacted the Sanders campaign with warnings that hundreds of his donors exceeded the $2,700 contribution limit. They further warned him that hundreds more may have been foreign nationals illegally giving Sanders money. The Sanders campaign, however, did not take any action.

One of the letters they wrote him flagged more than 1,500 questionable donors. Soon after, Tad Devine was paid almost a million dollars in one month by the Bernie Sanders campaign.

We know that the Russians had been plotting to interfere for more than a year before the election took place. The Steele Dossier said the Russians have been cultivating Trump for at least five.

It bears repeating that it’s a very convenient coincidence, that three of the top strategists who ran against Hillary Clinton has been doing Putin’s bidding in this capacity for longer than a decade.

Last Thursday afternoon there was a meeting of the Senate Intelligence Committee on the subject of Russian meddling into our 2016 election cycle.

During it, Retired Gen. Keith Alexander, former director of the National Security Agency, said that Russian operatives targeted both liberal and conservative voters in its disinformation campaigns during the 2016 election.

Democratic committee co-chair Sen. Mark Warner (VA) asked the panel if they had any doubt that Russia had attempted to interfere in some aspects of the 2016 election. Alexander said not only did he have no doubt, he could get very specific.

“Senator, I think what they were trying to do was drive a wedge within the Democratic Party between the Clinton group and the Sanders group,” said Alexander. This seems clear at this point to everyone but the willfully uninformed and the fanatically indoctrinated (and disingenuous Republican and other conservatives/libertarians).

The supporters of Bernie Sanders were ruthlessly taken advantage of by the Russians, who used their genuine zeal and idealism as a hammer for smashing Democratic unity to bits. They were duped by false information that came from within the Kremlin itself, and thus unwittingly became Putin’s other puppets.

The man who was in the best position to act as a conduit between the headquarters of the Sanders campaign and the Kremlin was Tad Devine.

This picture provides a vivid reminder of what Democratic activists on Facebook and Twitter have been warning everyone about in the direst of terms since 2015, namely, that the Bernie Sanders campaign was just as lousy with Russian entanglements as the Trump campaign was.

Devine may well hold an important piece of the puzzle here, which undoubtedly lies within the Sanders campaign. As Robert Mueller continues his journey to this discovery, our prayers will be with him.

By now this article has grown to prodigious length, and we applaud the reader who has followed the line all the way home. In his Rise of the Roman Empire, the ancient Greek Polybius said that the most important reason to learn history is so you have a chance to make good predictions about what may happen in the future. Russian interference is heating up for 2020 like never before, Trump has given no funding to the new national cyber-coordinator job, which basically leaves us on our own again, and we’ve got to be prepared for new forms of the same old tricks. Check out our article on Defense for Democrats.

Since this electoral cycle began, Sanders supporters have been joined and even overshadowed by the Tulsi Gabbard trolls.

One allied group of our friends recently created a Facebook page, Tulsi Gabbard Must Go. It’s been around all of a month, and yet, hundreds of trolls have fallen on it since then, like wild dogs. Some of them have shown up to troll the blog, also, like this charming lady.

As for David Brock, we have good things to say about him and every other dedicated Democrat, but we don’t personally know the guy. What I will say, is that I like the smell of my hair pomade. The pleasing fragrance is half the point.

Getting back to Tulsi and Bernie and the rest of the fake left, none of this is very surprising. They’re collecting paychecks for it. Check out the amount of fake activity that accompanies everything she tweets. Keep in mind, Twitter is fighting this. Facebook is not. There are two billion people using Facebook. How incomparably worse must it be!

"Thousands of inauthentic Twitter accounts emerge when exploring tweets where @TulsiGabbard's handle appears (large highlighted cluster includes ~20K accounts) cc: @yoyoel @delbius @vijaya" Thanks to @GeoffGoldberg!

From this, we can see that the fake left has found a new stronghold in Bernie’s close ally.

Going forward, raising awareness on all this will become more and more important, and although the story is long and multifaceted, the narrative is clear throughout. Russia and Vladimir Putin were definitely feeling the Bern. Look for them to feel him some more as we head into the next presidential cycle.

Unrequited Love at the Treason Summit- Donald’s Worst Excuse.

A very ugly Donald.

On the subject of this week’s Helsinki summit, in which the forty-fifth president of America slobbered on himself in the presence of Putin, there is almost nothing to say. Words fail all but completely.

On Twitter, it was trending as #TreasonSummit.

For once, America is well-nigh united. Everyone is disgusted with Trump, except for the loathsome toady Pence(who the Trump guys will hate no matter what, as he wavered on the “Grab ’em” tape), a man who has fallen all over himself to slobberingly praise his master Donald. Even the likes of Neil Caputo reviled him as weak.

Trump has a reputation as being a real tough guy, especially during a debate.

His attempt to loom over Hillary Clinton was memorable(and pathetic), as was the rough treatment he gave both “Low Energy” Jeb Bush, and “Little Marco” Rubio during the debates of the Republican primary.

Many expected him to go after Putin this same way, especially given that Robert Mueller just charged twelve Russian nationals with the hacking of our election last Friday.

Here’s what he said instead.

“I think the United States has been foolish,” Trump said, to explain poor U.S.-Russia relationships.

Undoubtedly it is true that America is not perfect. No one with even a cursory familiarity with American history would claim otherwise.

But what a thing to say to the President of Russia, architect of one of the most brutal regimes on Earth! Especially considering that they’re illegally occupying Ukraine and that they have been cyber-attacking all the world for years.

If I were Trump, I’d have gone public with this thing from Day One. Thanks for your help, Russia! Now allow me to reward you, by annihilating your ability to do anything like this ever again.

I would have gone right to the NSA with everything my campaign had learned about how they operate, and I would have seen to it that information was used to keep our country safer in the future.

This is not about Republicans vs. Democrats, or at least, it shouldn’t have been, and still doesn’t have to be. This is Russia vs. America, a struggle of hundreds of years. There’s a lot more at stake here than one man’s pride and power.

Unfortunately, Donald Trump does not realize this.

Later on Monday, the Justice Department charged the woman who tried to set up a back-channel of communication with the Trump campaign, Maria Butina, as being an agent of the Russian Federation.

Tuesday she was hit with a grand jury indictment, which added a more serious charge of acting as an agent of the Russian government. This carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.

This was on an investigation completely separate from that of Robert Mueller’s and offered some of the most explicit evidence yet that there were Americans who worked willingly to aid and abet the Russian efforts. And where, you ask, did they find Americans blind enough to reality to go along with something like this?

The pro-gun conspiracy world, of course, also known as the National Rifle Association, where Butina was shown in photos she put on Facebook attending events.

It all just goes to show. You cannot trust the right. They will do or say or willfully deny anything to take or keep power, even in the face of things like Sandy Hook and the Holocaust. That is what fascism is.

That is particularly relevant considering how they all jumped on the anti-Russia bandwagon yesterday when the President’s weakness became repugnant past a certain point. Mitch McConnell tried to talk tough, saying “The EU is friend to the US. Russia is not.”

But just the day before, Trump himself classified the E.U. as an enemy, too. It seems like the GOP and the Russians have been pretty cozy all along.

The final indignity was delivered on Sean Hannity’s talk show, where Trump was guided through the Fox News interpretation of current events. He lamented that reporters keep asking about Russian election interference, rather than what he considers issues of substance.

“I thought that President Putin was very, very strong,” he said, sighing like a lovesick calf.
