Bombs Sent to Democratic Leaders- Fascism Rising in America.

Fascism is on the rise in the Trump era.

Despicable cowards tried to murder all our greatest Democratic leaders today.

Having typed that sentence, I could finish the article here. Sometimes the facts argue themselves; that sentence and a headline tell you all you need to know about this whole situation, something the whole nation ought to be outraged about.

Pipe bombs were sent to Hillary Clinton in New York and Barack Obama in Washington.

A similar device was sent to philanthropist and lifelong enemy of fascism George Soros, according to the pair of law officers who gave the statement. How rotten, to do a thing like this to that old man, a man who lost his parents to the Holocaust.

Way to pay back a guy for his lifetime of good works by making him the center of a million nutty theories(for example, we do not write for Soros, no matter how many times we are reviled for it) and then sending him a bomb. We are living in a country full of real sickos. That much has become all too clear.

More bombs were sent to CNN, forcing the evacuation of its NYC offices. CNN journalists courageously kept the cameras rolling from the Manhattan sidewalk below.

Bombs were also sent to Eric Holder, former Obama administration Attorney General, former CIA director James Brennan, former DNC chairman and Floridian Representative Debbie Wasserman-Schultz of Florida, and Representative Maxine Waters all received bombs as well. If the guy who did it would not have been such a slob, we’d have lost all our leaders today.

This newest violence is the response to Trump’s big “I’m a (white) nationalist” crap the other day. He’s been doing this all along.

Donald Trump has been inciting his followers to violence for years. He smirked during the debates as he made reference to the Second Amendment, and how “maybe there is something you can do,” a clear incitement to political assassination!

The GOP statement deploring violence is just another sickening deplorable lie. It makes no sense to believe them. The right wing wants us dead. They’ve been out for physical, literal blood for years, at least since Barack Obama’s election.

They will never, ever forgive the people who dared to put a black man in a White House.

Recently the founder of a right-wing gang with a name that does not merit mention came out with a video inciting Trump supporters to violence. “We will kill you,” he says in the video segment, which went viral. Murdering swine.

The first article this blog ever published was called Chaos in Charlottesville, written in response to the sickening lowlife who murdered Heather Heyer, a disgusting footnote to the modern era- like these bombs. Or James T. Hodgkinson, the wingnut Bernie Sanders supporter who shot up the Congress last year.

Here we could care less if you’re wearing a red shirt or a black one. We are against all those who hide behind masks to go smash things up. It’s not the American way to bash brains in on the streets instead of voting. Foreign radicalism has never taken deep root here, which means socialism, communism, and most of all fascism- until now.

Make no mistake. These days, fascism is rearing its head. “We will kill you…”

It is our opinion that people should stop taking the survival of American democracy for granted.

We are not invincible. It can happen here, “it” meaning a fascist takeover. Trump, to all appearances, is actively signaling “it”, and his followers are preparing for it. And they are making progress like no right-wing nationalist has since Adolf Hitler.

We have got to get people to realize that we have got to wake up now, or we could end up flat on our backs for the rest of our lives- or worse.

If Nazi Germany was reborn today on American soil, it would be us all to suffer.

Some as members of unwanted groups, some as political prisoners. Some of us would go to American style Dachau type camps, while others will be forced into silence or shot. They would take all our data off of Facebook and use it to round us up. These things have happened elsewhere. It is time to ask ourselves the question, What if?

The Republicans have been gradually going down this road for more than a hundred years. Why should we assume it’s impossible for them to succeed? The Founding Fathers feared this above all else- the evils of faction, shredding a nation’s fiber.

Here at Millennial Democrats, we’ve been covering all this since the start. We have seen this develop, we have spoken out at every turn. We will be here as long as we can, spreading the word and raising awareness.

This is our country, which we value and love. We will not abandon her.

The Last Nail-Manafort To Cooperate With Mueller in Trump-Proof Deal.

Paul Manafort and his adoring public.

Paul Manafort, the man who has been seen as the key to understanding what Donald Trump’s role in Russia’s interference in our 2016 presidential election was, has finally figured out he’s not getting a pardon and agreed to cooperate with Robert Mueller, according to Kevin Downing, his attorney.

Last Friday, U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson formally accepted Manafort’s guilty plea, to two felony conspiracy counts.

This news was not unexpected, and in fact, probably represents the last nail in the coffin of the Trump presidency. It comes on the heels of Manafort’s courthouse defeat in Virginia last month, in which he was convicted on eight more felony charges. A mistrial was declared on the other ten counts, but the government reserves the right to retry them.

Manafort seems finally to have had enough. He has tapped out.

Ken Starr, the semi-pornographer who led the investigation into President Bill Clinton, said Sunday he was not surprised to see the former Trump campaign manager cooperate. “He was under tremendous pressure,” said Starr, a former judge.

No doubt, buddy.

White House Special Counsel for Ethics and Government Reform in the Obama administration, Norman Eisen, has predicted that Trump will not survive Manafort’s testimony.

Eisen, the Obama ethics lawyer, said there is a possibility Manafort will lead prosecutors to Trump. T.S. Ellis, the presiding judge in Manafort’s Virginia trial, reproached Mueller’s team last spring for trying to “get something on President Trump”, and implying that was the goal of prosecuting Manafort for tax and bank fraud in the first place.

Ellis took a sympathetic stance viz. Manafort many times during that trial, in our opinion, but he was found guilty on eight counts anyway, and he was facing yet another trial this month. Trump’s pat on the head for his “bravery” was not, apparently, worth doing life in prison for. Manafort has finally had enough.

And thus did the lone holdout, the one man perceived beyond all others to hold the key to understanding all of this, finally collapse. With it, Trump’s presidency is almost certain to fall as well.

Here at Millennial Democrats, we weren’t quite around to report on it last year when Donald Trump Jr.’s infamous meeting at Trump Tower with Kremlin-linked attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya to get dirt on Hillary Clinton, which Mueller is said to have taken a keen interest in, was discovered.

But we were around when the New York Times reported last September that Manafort was informed of his impending indictment in August, during an early-morning raid at his Virginia home.

We were present a third time when the special counsel Robert Mueller gave Trump an early Christmas present, by way of getting the cooperation of Ret. Gen. Michael Flynn, a man who was at another famous meeting, this one in Russia with Manafort and Jill Stein– and Vladimir Putin.

All of these were nails in the coffin. After that, they started falling like rain. Rick Gates, Sam Nunberg, and so on. This time, however, we’re not just discussing another nail. We’re discussing the final nail.

If you were online and using social media, particularly Facebook, in 2016 and saw this whole thing taking place before your eyes, you probably tried to tell people.

The people you told probably rolled their eyes, especially when you told them about Bernie Sanders‘ campaign being involved(Bernie’s old manager Tad Devine was the first witness called at Manafort’s trial), and you got that. You knew you probably sounded paranoid, but just the same. Something was going on, and sooner or later, the authorities would get involved.

We just hoped it would be in time to salvage the election. It was not.

Manafort’s agreeing to cooperate represent the culmination of nearly two years worth of effort, at this point, and for those of us who have followed the Russiagate developments, nothing could ever possibly come as a better piece of news.

Later on Friday, we saw Mueller’s plea agreement with Manafort on Friday take all-but-unprecedented steps to undercut Trump’s ability to pardon his former campaign chairman. He Trump-proofed it by making sure Manafort knows that if he does accept a pardon, the government will take everything he owns.

To the kind of guy who would spend twelve grand on a pocketwatch, no punishment could be worse.

Good bye, Donald.

Cyber-Defense For Democrats! Security Measures For Midterms.

#CyberDefenseForDemocrats

Hello, world!

We have received numerous requests for a focus piece regarding cyber-defense for Democrats, especially right now as we are going into the midterms. In it is an introduction to a number of the techniques we can use to defend ourselves going forward. Knowledge is power. Pass it on.

Regular readers of Millennial Democrats will not require a lot of explanation as to how and why the threat of Russian hacking is real. We have been up against it for years. The time has come to soberly and objectively assess Russia’s cyberwarfare capabilities, and examine how we plan to fight back.

In 2016, America was caught off guard and we got a bloody nose. Guys like Roger Stone’s buddy Guccifer 2.0, or the guys in Fancy Bear pulled a fast one, to be sure.

But it’s important not to overstate the case. It is not accurate to attribute cybernetic omniscience to the Russians and their zany bots and fake news.

They had the element of surprise back then. Most people had no idea what they were doing(and rolled their eyes at those who were trying to warn them, but that’s another subject). These days things are very different.

Regardless of the lies of the great orange malignance, America knows the Russians are out to get us. Trump is sticking his head in the sand on this and will do nothing to help us, so we’re going to have to learn to help ourselves, and each other.

It’s too bad we’ve got no national leadership on this, but it is what it is. We’ll get by on our own.

In starting out, the most important thing to keep in mind is this: Hackers rely on our mistakes, and mistakes are most often made when we don’t know we are making them. They need to catch us off guard, and their job is to find creative ways to use their tools to get us to slip up.

The first place a smart hacker will look is outside the box, so to speak. They’re always looking for ways to burrow in that you wouldn’t think to look for.

Employing a given system, be it a human being or a PC, for a purpose it wasn’t designed for is what hacking means. However, if you’re careful, neither you nor your computer will end up thus employed. It’s all about being careful.

Hackers are clever, be they Russian or from elsewhere, but they are far from invincible. We’ve already stopped a number of Russian cyber-assaults directed at Democrats this year, such as the ones aimed at our Claire McCaskill.

Without the element of surprise, hackers have many limitations. It’s not that easy to brute-force open a website. Just ask these guys:

This is the IP address of a hacker, purportedly from Beijing, who is always doing his best to get in here. Have at it, pal.
This is the IP address of a hacker, purportedly from Beijing, who is always doing his best to get in here. Have at it, pal.

Basic cyber-hygiene techniques would cut down on more than 80 percent of cyber attacks and cyber thefts, according to Herbert Lin, senior research scholar for cyber policy and security at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution. It will benefit us to learn a few.

There is a great deal of white-hat(ethical hacking) work that can be done to defend America in this realm, and most of it has to do with how careful we are.

We repeat- It’s all about being careful. This cannot be repeated too often.

Every technique that hackers use, be they DNS attacks against home routers, phishing emails, malware, botnets, or what have you, is ultimately something we can avoid.

In this piece, we’re going to talk about a few common mistakes made by end-users(that means us, the consumer) and how they are exploited by criminals. We’re also going to talk about some of these cyber-hygiene measures and assign them three rules of thumb.

  1. Don’t open strange emails.
  2. Don’t click on strange links.
  3. Don’t accept chat messages from people you don’t know, particularly on Facebook.

Before we get started, think for a second about all your other social media accounts. Are they just as secure as your Facebook or Twitter? Make sure they are! That’s the first place a hacker will go to collect more data about you. You’re particularly vulnerable to having your account on the ones you don’t often use pried open.

As an aside, this is also why you don’t want to use the same passwords for everything. Passwords are obviously critical, as somebody who’s got them has got all your information at his fingertips. Be careful!!

A great deal of a hacker’s job revolves around getting the passwords of their victims. Their most popular tools are all various ways to apply “spear-phishing” hacks, designed to steal passwords and personal data. The unlucky “phish” who opens one has become a victim and is now open to all kinds of trouble.

There are all kinds of ways to go spear-phishing. A brand new one showed up not long ago when U.S. government agencies recently received letters via snail mail.

They came with CDs inside, and they contained malware, according to cybersecurity researcher Krebs on Security. The infected discs were accompanied by a Chinese-postmarked envelope and a “confusingly-worded” letter.

That is just like what they do on Facebook. Hackers make links that look like YouTube videos and various other innocuous things, and they write you some goofy little messages. They look like some cute little harmless thing. Actually, they’re viruses. And you’re hit.

One example that all readers of this blog will vividly recall took place on March 10, 2016, when the first volley of malicious e-mail messages hit the inboxes of thirty people who were closely associated with the Hillary Clinton campaign. Inside them were links that were actually viruses, like worms on a hook.

Nearly all of them were failures. All but one, actually. But one was enough.

Within nine days, a horrendous amount of critical data had been stolen and passed along to Wikileaks, to be strategically released in a way they figured would hurt us. It did.

Those leaked e-mails, in which Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was seen to be fussing over Bernie’s lack of ability to fill out campaign finance forms correctly, were spun up into a narrative that Bernie(who lost by four million popular votes) had been cheated.

Bernie or Bust bought it, there were riots in the streets of Philadelphia, and a rift was torn in the Democratic Party that still has yet to heal.

All of that was made possible, with just a few phished passwords.

To combat phishing is to make sure everyone knows how common and damaging these attacks can be. Everyone should keep their guard up when checking emails, and they should report any email they find suspicious.

It’s necessary to point out here that Facebook phishing in particular is horrendously easy. They can hack you right through your chat box. We recommend in the strongest possible terms that you put as little of your personal information as possible on Facebook.

They save everything. They’re like a gigantic data collection firm, and they’ll sell your personal information to companies like Cambridge Analytica who will use it to hurt us all.

Why risk it?

Facebook presents about a million added vulnerabilities to all of us that use it. When Edward Snowden was asked what to do to keep your data safe on that platform, his response was, “Delete your account.”

We can’t recommend that, as Facebook gives us access to 2 billion people, but we can recommend this much. If people you don’t know send you strange messages on Facebook, don’t accept them.

Facebook was made to brief congressional aides just last week Tuesday about the newest outbreak of anti-Democratic disinformation, which is already said to be evolving into something more sophisticated. Excerpts from that briefing are shown below.

“We are looking at just some of the malicious material that already may be circulating or will be released before the midterms. It also bears repeating that we know the campaign of Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) was targeted.”

Cyber-intelligence experts see this as being major, and with clear reason.

Moving on, it isn’t only Facebook and social media you’ve got to be careful with. Websites too are vulnerable.

Anecdotally, the webmaster of this site has seen hackers from all over the world try to take us down, from Beijing, China to Lviv, Ukraine, from Adelaide, Australia to Beauharnois, Quebec. They use all kinds of tricks, but they’ve never gotten in and they never will.

This is not because I’m a cyber-genius who speaks binary code, but because WordPress is awesome. Sucuri, the plugin that keeps safe all of us Millennial Democrats, is likewise excellent. They care about their clients and they hold the same liberal values sacred that we do.

Wordpress users should strongly consider using Sucuri, not least for the reverse IP trace it automatically performs. This has the benefit of letting you know a lot more about who’s trying to hack you. Sometimes it will tell you everything.

Once a flower store owner from Adelaide, Australia tried to hack us. By using a reverse IP trace, Sucuri let us know who she was as soon as she had done so. Then we went to a site called WhatismyIPaddress.com, put it in, and voila.

We were able to get the name of her business by looking at the name of her domain. We then used that to look her up, and jackpot. We found the store’s address, website, and owner. We also found far-right garbage smeared all over her life.

I could put her on blast right here with a screenshot like this one:

My (possibly) Chinese friend, saying hello to me again. Hi, buddy. Change your ways!
My (possibly) Chinese friend, saying hello to me again. Hi, buddy. Change your ways!

Then the hunter would rapidly become the hunted.

Luckily for her, I’m not that mean. But the next guy might be. It’s a dangerous game for newbies (noobs- learn your hacker-ese) to play. It’s easy to run into trouble.

Change your life, would-be hacker flower store owner! Mend your wicked ways, before it’s too late.

Speaking of WordPress, using the two-factor authentication feature they offer as part of their platform is another good idea. This is a highly effective security measure and is available for Facebook, Gmail, WordPress, and many other major platforms.

Using this feature means a second device’s input will be required to access email accounts or websites on new computers, usually by prompting you and sending an SMS code to your phone or whatever. This can prevent scammers from accessing compromised accounts.

In addition to good cyber-hygiene, which amounts to common sense, caution, and our three rules of thumb, there are some tools we can use to make our online experience safer still. You may find this necessary, from time to time.

A VPN, or virtual proxy network service, will allow you to register as being somewhere that you’re nowhere physically near. It allows you to safeguard your IP address. You do not want hackers to have your IP address, as it can be used to hurt you in a bewildering multitude of ways. This is probably the biggest reason to use a VPN.

Guccifer 2.0 recently made a mistake and forgot to turn his VPN on, and we connected him to an IP address connected to Russian intelligence. Now his whole identity is blown because he didn’t use his VPN.

We strongly recommend getting one of these, specifically IVPN. They take protecting their customers super seriously and they are located on the Rock of Gibraltar. That fortress strikes me as a good place to keep anything valuable.

HotspotShield is another good one, and also NordVPN. There’s a lot of them; shop around and find one that’s right for you. We feel it’s worth repeating that they are a very good investment.

Additional tools include TOR(The Onion Router), which offers a former naval encryption system that we can now all use. Tor takes all your internet traffic and routes it through its own network, providing total anonymity.

The DuckDuckGo browser, which Tor employs, is good to know about also. It has a number of different features that keep you safe, including a “Flame” feature that burns up all your cookies in a second. Pretty cool.

We suggest you learn Linux, because it is more secure, and 99% of viruses are designed to attack Microsoft products.

Russian hackers have been targeting home routers of individual people en masse, using what is called a DNS attack. We suggest you check your home router often, using the website Secure Router.

Secure Router is a great free feature that allows you to check if your router has been compromised with the click of a button. Doing this regularly cannot hurt and takes less than a second.

In closing, it’s important to emphasize that this is an introductory piece, and not meant to be totally comprehensive. These techniques will do a lot to keep you safe, but nothing is a substitute for doing your own research.

So far, this has not been the kind of cyber war imagined in the past, with nations taking out each other’s power grids before a mass invasion, although Russian malware continues to turn up in our power stations.

It’s more like a new type of proxy war. Like it or not, against our will, we have begun a new phase of the Cold War, on digital battlefields where you meet the enemy directly, but behind a screen.

Now, just as then, there is a need for deterrence, to defend the nation and hopefully prevent a further escalation of tensions. There is more at stake than we can even put into words. We need to be ready.

There are bigger dangers here than the usual America vs. Russia, liberal world order vs the new world order that the extremist crazies keep screaming that they want kind of thing. This is different completely.

One superpower actively destroying the democratic process of another is new and very dangerous, especially since Russian destability tactics rely heavily on disinformation and a systematic devaluing of the truth.

If nothing is true, everything is permissible. And then our entire species starts down the road to guns and roving mobs.

Disinformation and a post-truth reality are unacceptable, and so is Russian interference into our election, regardless of how many Fox News devotees will slobberingly say otherwise.

We have only got one party ready to defend our democracy from the foreign agitators’ who are trying to destroy it, and that is the Democratic Party. Accept no substitutes.

Due diligence is the key. Hackers will look for things you might be neglecting. Get in some good habits and keep yourself alert, because it all comes down to one thing.

If you are politically active as a Democrat, you are not paranoid. You are a target. Defend yourself.

Unrequited Love at the Treason Summit- Donald’s Worst Excuse.

A very ugly Donald.

On the subject of this week’s Helsinki summit, in which the forty-fifth president of America slobbered on himself in the presence of Putin, there is almost nothing to say. Words fail all but completely.

On Twitter, it was trending as #TreasonSummit.

For once, America is well-nigh united. Everyone is disgusted with Trump, except for the loathsome toady Pence(who the Trump guys will hate no matter what, as he wavered on the “Grab ’em” tape), a man who has fallen all over himself to slobberingly praise his master Donald. Even the likes of Neil Caputo reviled him as weak.

Trump has a reputation as being a real tough guy, especially during a debate.

His attempt to loom over Hillary Clinton was memorable(and pathetic), as was the rough treatment he gave both “Low Energy” Jeb Bush, and “Little Marco” Rubio during the debates of the Republican primary.

Many expected him to go after Putin this same way, especially given that Robert Mueller just charged twelve Russian nationals with the hacking of our election last Friday.

Here’s what he said instead.

“I think the United States has been foolish,” Trump said, to explain poor U.S.-Russia relationships.

Undoubtedly it is true that America is not perfect. No one with even a cursory familiarity with American history would claim otherwise.

But what a thing to say to the President of Russia, architect of one of the most brutal regimes on Earth! Especially considering that they’re illegally occupying Ukraine and that they have been cyber-attacking all the world for years.

If I were Trump, I’d have gone public with this thing from Day One. Thanks for your help, Russia! Now allow me to reward you, by annihilating your ability to do anything like this ever again.

I would have gone right to the NSA with everything my campaign had learned about how they operate, and I would have seen to it that information was used to keep our country safer in the future.

This is not about Republicans vs. Democrats, or at least, it shouldn’t have been, and still doesn’t have to be. This is Russia vs. America, a struggle of hundreds of years. There’s a lot more at stake here than one man’s pride and power.

Unfortunately, Donald Trump does not realize this.

Later on Monday, the Justice Department charged the woman who tried to set up a back-channel of communication with the Trump campaign, Maria Butina, as being an agent of the Russian Federation.

Tuesday she was hit with a grand jury indictment, which added a more serious charge of acting as an agent of the Russian government. This carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.

This was on an investigation completely separate from that of Robert Mueller’s and offered some of the most explicit evidence yet that there were Americans who worked willingly to aid and abet the Russian efforts. And where, you ask, did they find Americans blind enough to reality to go along with something like this?

The pro-gun conspiracy world, of course, also known as the National Rifle Association, where Butina was shown in photos she put on Facebook attending events.

It all just goes to show. You cannot trust the right. They will do or say or willfully deny anything to take or keep power, even in the face of things like Sandy Hook and the Holocaust. That is what fascism is.

That is particularly relevant considering how they all jumped on the anti-Russia bandwagon yesterday when the President’s weakness became repugnant past a certain point. Mitch McConnell tried to talk tough, saying “The EU is friend to the US. Russia is not.”

But just the day before, Trump himself classified the E.U. as an enemy, too. It seems like the GOP and the Russians have been pretty cozy all along.

The final indignity was delivered on Sean Hannity’s talk show, where Trump was guided through the Fox News interpretation of current events. He lamented that reporters keep asking about Russian election interference, rather than what he considers issues of substance.

“I thought that President Putin was very, very strong,” he said, sighing like a lovesick calf.

Tad Devine Of Sanders Campaign Spotted In Photo With Key Manafort Aide.

Top consultant to the Bernie Sanders 2016 presidential campaign Tad Devine, hanging out with Paul Manafort and Konstatin Kilimnik.

Tad Devine, a former senior advisor to the Bernie Sanders 2016 campaign, was in the news recently for the first time in a while. He was spotted in an old 2006 photograph enjoying himself with his then-coworker Konstantin Kilimnik.

In the picture, Kilimnik, a Ukrainian native, is pictured in an office setting with Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort and other key players in Manafort’s consulting firm at the time. One of those players was Tad Devine.

Kilimnik is known informally as “Manafort’s Manafort“, and has been a figure of interest in the Russia investigation from the start. He is believed to be back in Russia now, and he is considered to have strong ties to Russian intelligence.

Tad Devine is a figure of great interest in the Russiagate investigation, in our opinion. We’ve been expecting the special counsel assigned by the Justice Department to look into Russian meddling in our 2016 election cycle, Robert Mueller, to get around to him sooner or later.

If Manafort is the key to understanding exactly what the Russians were doing for Trump, Kilimnik is the key to understanding what Manafort did for the Russians. Devine is the key to what the Russians were doing for Bernie. He is by far the most likely connection between the Russians and the Sanders campaign.

Although it has been very hard for Sanders followers to face this, it is our opinion that Devine too was working with the Russians and that Sanders most likely knew he was getting help from Russians to defeat Hillary Clinton. That help came in some very strange ways.

By the time the Fourth of July rolled around in 2016, the Federal Election Commission repeatedly contacted the Sanders campaign with warnings that hundreds of his donors exceeded the $2,700 contribution limit, and that hundreds more may have been foreign nationals illegally giving Sanders money.

One of the letters they wrote him flagged more than 1,500 questionable donors. Soon after, Tad Devine was paid almost a million dollars in one month by the Bernie Sanders campaign.

Devine has known Manafort and Kilimnik for many years. He was Manafort’s right-hand man in Ukraine right alongside Kilimnik, at a time when all three were the property of Viktor Yanukovych, the former President of Ukraine, whom in turn was the property of Putin. They were over there fixing elections for him.

More than a decade before Russia was accused of surreptitiously trying to tilt the presidential election toward Trump, the records show that Manafort, Devine, and Kilimnik were all encouraging Russia to hone its efforts to influence global politics. They were busy developing techniques they might use to help that process along.

They used these techniques to fix the 2004 Ukranian elections on behalf of Yanukovych, but they were so blatant in their corruption that the Orange Revolution began and overturned the crooked and invalid vote. Yanukovych was defeated in the second vote.

None of this mattered to Tad Devine, however, who kept right along working for Yanukovych.

Even after his rival, Viktor Yushchenko, barely survived a poisoning attempt, obliging him to “campaign with his face half paralyzed and a catheter inserted into his back to inject painkillers into his spine”, Devine’s conscience did not serve him well as a guide. He decided to hang around.

We know that the Russians had been plotting to interfere for more than a year before the election took place. The Steele Dossier said the Russians have been cultivating Trump for at least five.

It is a very convenient coincidence that three of the top strategists who ran against Hillary Clinton has been doing Putin’s bidding in this capacity for longer than a decade.

Last Thursday afternoon there was a meeting of the Senate Intelligence Committee on the subject of Russian meddling into our 2016 election cycle.

During it, Retired Gen. Keith Alexander, former director of the National Security Agency, said that Russian operatives targeted both liberal and conservative voters in its disinformation campaigns during the 2016 election.

Democratic committee co-chair Sen. Mark Warner (VA) asked the panel if they had any doubt that Russia had attempted to interfere in some aspects of the 2016 election. Alexander said not only did he have no doubt, he could get very specific.

“Senator, I think what they were trying to do was drive a wedge within the Democratic Party between the Clinton group and the Sanders group,” said Alexander.

The supporters of Bernie Sanders were ruthlessly taken advantage of by the Russians, who used their genuine zeal and idealism as a hammer for smashing Democratic unity to bits. They were duped by false information that came from within the Kremlin itself, and thus unwittingly became Putin’s other puppets.

The man who was in the best position to act as a conduit between the headquarters of the Sanders campaign and the Kremlin was Tad Devine.

This picture provides a vivid reminder of what Democratic activists on Facebook and Twitter have been warning everyone about in the direst of terms since 2015, namely, that the Bernie Sanders campaign was just as lousy with Russian entanglements as the Trump campaign was.

Tad Devine may well hold the final piece of the puzzle as to how the whole rotten Russian conspiracy was put together. As Robert Mueller continues his journey to this discovery, our prayers will be with him.

Racist Bernie Bros and Joy Reid- When Progressives Impede Progress.

This is what we're fighting.

A group of fanatical Bernie Sanders supporters went scrounging around the Internet recently, digging up old blog posts of a homophobic nature published many years ago by JoyAnn Reid, host of MSNBC’s popular morning talk show AM Joy.

There are no doubt the content of the posts were wrong. Reid apologized for the unkind things she’d said in the past, owned it, and moved forward. Her apology serves as a model for us all.

But that is not the issue here. Those posts were dug up and released for a reason. And genuine concern over the threat Joy Reid might pose to the LGBT community does not appear to be it.

It is the opinion of Millennial Democrats that it happened because Reid’s past political commentary has been critical of Bernie Sanders.

One recent article published by Medium’s Investigator recently was called “The Twitter lynching of Joy Ann Reid by the Bernie Left.”

An outsider might be taken aback by the vehemence of such a statement, especially as a headline. But it happens to be true. And its contents tell a very ugly story.

An Internet campaign was started by Bernie supporters under the hashtag #FireJoyReid in November 2017 after Reid “made the mistake” of mentioning Jane Sanders in a series of tweets.

Jane Sanders flipped out.

“Don’t ever use me to demean my husband,” she shot at Reid on Twitter.

The ongoing conflict between Reid and Sanders supporters is something anyone can witness for themselves, through a quick Google search for “Joy Reid Bernie Sanders.”

Their hatred of Joy Reid is fanatical at best. At worst it is dangerous and insane, like Bernie supporter James T.Hodgkinson, who shot up the Congress last summer and winged Rep. Steve Scalise.

From 2015 forward, a group of extreme leftists has systematically harassed, stalked and targeted for doxing black activists, journalists, and contributors on Twitter and other social media sites. The list includes many notable figures, such as Donna Brazile, Kamala Harris, Maxine Waters, and Joy Reid.

Medium’s Investigator did the research necessary to identify its core members- a tightly knit group of Bernie Bros.

They identify usually as members of the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America), and they all proudly proclaim to have voted for Jill Stein.

Among many other unpleasant characteristics, the group makes a practice of producing, tweeting, and retweeting racist pictures, like this one of Kamala Harris.

People of color, and watermelon. Real clever, right?

Behind this campaign is the fact that a lot of black voters didn’t vote for Bernie. The anger this produced by a part of the Bernie left has been gigantic. That’s hard to understand, given Bernie’s record, but that is beside the point.

Image result for Racist Bernie Bros and Joy Reid

This Millennial Democrats contributor would be hard-pressed to think of a single other circumstance, in which white people could treat black people like this, without hardly a soul being outraged.

The Sanders insurgency is largely a white revolution. All the talk about Sanders representing the future of the Democratic Party because of his titanic popularity among young people ignores a crucial factor.

Minority voters weren’t buying it.

Back in 2016, when Hillary Clinton won big in the Southern primaries, Sanders sniffed that scheduling early primaries in the South “distorts reality.” The message that sends? They’re just black voters.

Anecdotally, this writer remembers being told during the election, that the South “did not matter”, because their states would go red in the general election. Were that to be accepted as truth, it would disenfranchise half the country’s Democrats and a huge percentage of the black ones.

Back in 2014, during a number of interviews, Bernie described the type of voters he wanted to appeal to.

He says working-class white voters have abandoned Democrats in large numbers. The party, he says, has “not made it clear that they are prepared to stand with the working-class people of this country, take on the big money interests.”

And more recently, when he scoffed at President Barack Obama on the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, his comments made it all too clear just how greatly he values the rest.

Well, here’s what you got. What you got is an African-American president, and the African-American community is very, very proud that this country has overcome racism (Editor’s note-????) and voted for him for president. And that’s kind of natural. You’ve got a situation where the Republican Party has been strongly anti-immigration, and you’ve got a Hispanic community which is looking to the Democrats for help.”

“But that’s not important.”

We beg to differ, Senator Sanders.

Right now, in America, racism is the strongest it has been since the 50’s. We all remember what happened in Charlottesville last summer, and that is far from the only notorious example.

A Virginia newspaper ran a full KKK recruitment flyer as its front page ad earlier this week.

This week a video showed up online exhibiting a white manager of a Plano, Texas, restaurant making a blatant attempt to kick out a prominent black couple dining in his restaurant after they refused to give up their seat to a white customer. He threatened the couple with the police.

It is very important that the left be there for persons of color, especially at a time like this. The racist right is on the attack beyond anything recent decades have seen. We have to be there in stark opposition. It’s part of what it means to be a Democrat.

There is no word in the English language that the Democratic Socialist supporters of Bernie Sanders like to use more than progressive. They’re convinced they’re the only ones with any right to it.

But if progressive values do not include fighting racism and sticking up for at-risk groups, then what exactly is progressive about them?

The Bernie supporters who have been savaging Joy Reid ought to take a good look at themselves.

Channel 4 Busts Cambridge CEO- God Save The Queen!

#MillennialDemocrats

Thank you, Great Britain.

Alexander Nix, the chief executive of data mining company Cambridge Analytica, the company at the center of the Facebook data breach, has been caught on tape boasting of using honey traps, disinformation campaigns, and Kompromat campaigns to swing election campaigns around the world, a new investigation reveals.

Executives from Cambridge spoke to undercover reporters from Channel 4 News about the dark arts used by the company to help clients, which included entrapping rival candidates in fake bribery stings and hiring prostitutes to seduce them.

In one exchange, the company chief executive, Alexander Nix, is recorded telling reporters: “It sounds a dreadful thing to say, but these are things that don’t necessarily need to be true as long as they’re believed.”

Joseph Goebbels thought much the same. So does Vladimir Putin.

The Channel 4 News investigation, broadcast on Monday, comes two days after the Observer reported Cambridge Analytica had unauthorized access to tens of millions of Facebook profiles in one of the social media company’s biggest data breaches.

Cambridge Analytica has been using the exact same disinformation techniques that the Russian Internet Research Agency has.

Instructions were given to the staff of that company to post political content on US social media sites and “use any opportunity to criticize Hillary and the rest (except Sanders and Trump — we support them).”

The New York Times and the Observer newspaper in Britain revealed Saturday that Cambridge Analytica got hold of the personal information of 50 million Facebook users and used it to craft ads and messages for President Trump’s 2016 campaign.

So how exactly did that happen? Why was it even allowed?

Those are not questions that have convincing answers. It is the opinion of Millennial Democrats that Facebook is far from on the up and up. Democrats have been silenced on Facebook with impunity from the start. The same people who’ve been silencing us, let these people get away with murder.

Facebook has a tremendous culpability in this matter. It’s good that they’re suspending Cambridge from having any further access, especially after hearing their CEO bragging about how he uses sex workers and bribes to corrupt and ruin rival politicians.

Again, this technique is Russian in origin. They call it Kompromat- the gathering of compromising evidence on someone in order to exert leverage.

We have come to quite an impasse. Russia’s tyrant is actively working to help the Republicans keep power in America. They’ve certainly got plenty of Kompromat on them.

For an example as to the way they gather this Kompromat and what sort of dirt they want can be, we can look to Ralph Shortey, a 35-year-old married father of three. He resigned in disgrace from the state legislature in March.

He was Trump’s campaign chair from Oklahoma, a man who carefully cultivated a strong ‘family values’ man type of image. He also just pled guilty to seven federal counts. Child sex trafficking, felony child prostitution, transportation of child pornography, and production of child pornography.

pleads guilty to Meanwhile, former Campbell County District Judge Timothy Nolan, Trump’s campaign chair in KY, has pled guilty to a similar set of charges. Sex trafficking of minors. 21 counts against 19 victims. Felony trafficking of a minor, felony inducing a minor to engage in sex, and a third count of giving alcohol to a minor.

One wonders if, like his grandfather, Trump has a sex trafficking racket along with his Russian money laundering racket? Just asking .

The president and his closest associates not only know of these efforts but are doing their best to coordinate with them.

Meanwhile, Trump, the president, not only does nothing but lies to the people every day. And when he found out that the FBI was looking into the whole mess, fires the person running the investigation in hopes of putting an end to it.

This is not a movie. This is where the nation stands. The Justice Department has an investigation in full-tilt, with the best guys in the country recruited to get the job done, and the president is doing all he can to find a way to get rid of it.

“The fact pattern that continues to emerge is amazing,” said Rick Wilson, a Republican consultant who stood among the first to question Trump’s ties to Moscow during the GOP primary campaign. “When I was a young cold warrior, back at the dawn of time, we had a healthy suspicion of Russia.”

In the meantime, Trump recently did what he’s never done before and directly taken aim at Robert Mueller on Twitter.

Robert Mueller himself has been a Republican all his life. That does not seem to be something Trump likes to bring up. It certainly did not stop Trump from nearly firing him last June, on a conflict of interest beef relating to, of all things, golfing fees. The whole thing has degenerated to the level of a kindergarten in the DeVos school system.

Is this what we want for our country? Aren’t we fed up yet? How much farther do we have to go? It is the opinion of Millennial Democrats that most of us are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Thank God for Great Britain, is all I can think of to say. If it wasn’t for them, we’d be in this alone, and up to our necks. I personally have learned not to take them for granted. Thank you, Brits.

There is a sign of light on the horizon, however. It’s called a #BlueWave. The way it works is really simple, too. Vote Democratic, and the nightmare ends. Vote Democratic, and professionals come in and start cleaning up the mess. Vote Democratic, and America is certain to remain America, because the best will make sure it is.

If you’ve had enough of living in the zoo, vote blue.

Rick Gates Cooperates- The End Comes For Donald Trump.

Rick Gates Cooperates

Things have been moving at a tremendous pace in the Russiagate investigation lately. Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating possible Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential election, has staggered the “hoax” claims of Donald Trump with over a hundred new charges in the investigation.

This was coupled with the stunning news that Manafort’s associate Rick Gates, the former deputy campaign chair for the Trump campaign, has agreed to cooperate with Mueller’s investigation.

Mueller also charged Paul Manafort, Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman, with a multimillion-dollar fraud related to mortgages.

This sounds innocuous, but Manafort has a history of shady real estate dealings; ripping off Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska on a multimillion-dollar hotel deal in the Cayman Islands is how he landed himself in this stew in the first place.

Both Gates and Manafort had earlier been charged with laundering millions of dollars that they had collected as lobbyists for the government of Ukraine.

Manafort in particular has been making millions since the 1980’s, lobbying for brutal world dictators who’ve been shunned by the rest of the world, such as Putin prop Victor Yanukovych, ousted as president of Ukraine after the Orange Revolution of 2004.

By Friday Gates had pleaded guilty to two different charges: conspiracy with regard to the financial crimes, and lying to investigators. Apparently, he told the lie during prior plea talks. Prosecutors prepared a revised indictment, this time directed only at Manafort.

Donald Trump also is shaking in his boots over perjury. His lawyers are trying to set terms for his testimony before special counsel Robert Mueller. Without a care in the world for their country and its well-being, they’re prepared to wage a court battle to shield him from testifying at all if their conditions aren’t met, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Sources familiar with the situation reported that Trump’s legal team is currently considering all its options in finding various ways for him to testify that would prevent him from perjuring himself, which they know full well he will do within minutes of starting the meeting.

If Trump is speaking, Trump is lying. It’s like breathing, to him.

A few days prior, a former attorney at the law firm Skadden Arps pleaded guilty to lying to investigators about conversations he had had with Gates regarding work that the firm did for Ukraine.

The week before that, Mueller indicted thirteen Russian nationals on charges related to their involvement in the Internet Research Agency, a social-media mill, alleging that it used illegal means to promote Trump’s candidacy.

Its efforts included buying ads on social media and digitally impersonating Trump supporters in Florida. It also involved giving plenty of help to the campaign of Bernie Sanders, one of only two Senators not to vote to sanction Russia this year.

Michael Flynn, the President’s former national-security adviser, had already pleaded guilty to lying to investigators. He had been in legal jeopardy anyway, thanks to his work as an unregistered foreign lobbyist. He too is now coöperating with the investigation. So is George Papadopoulos, a former campaign adviser, who pleaded guilty to lying about his foreign contacts.

As of yet, none of the charges formally accuse the Trump campaign knowingly colluded with the Russians, or whether the President himself obstructed justice. But the ever-growing list of people who are cooperating points to Mueller getting close on both points, particularly if Manafort joins them.

As campaign chairman, Gates sat in on the now famous June 9, 2016, Trump Tower meeting with Donald Trump, Jr., Jared Kushner, and Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer who contacted Trump Jr. offering “dirt” on the Clinton campaign. Manafort left the campaign two months later. Gates, however, stayed on through the election. He may have much more to tell.

All along, Paul Manafort has come into view more and more clearly as the guy who knew how it all went down on the ground. He’s not testifying, probably out of fear for his life. The best case scenario for him is life in prison.

For Gates, it’s different. He was not the man on top, and it’s not too late for his redemption. In that case, he would go from being one of America’s most repugnant criminals to being one of its saviors, the guy who looked himself in the mirror and found courage enough in himself to decide to tell the truth and save the country.

It is the opinion of Millennia Democrats that if he knew what Manafort was doing, and he can testify that he was doing it with Trump’s blessing, that may very well be the final shot needed to bring down Trump.

This is also the opinion of former White House counsel to Richard Nixon, John Dean, one of the leading figures in the Watergate scandal. On Saturday, Dean said the news should be of great concern to former campaign manager Paul Manafort, who faces multiple charges in the case, as well as to the White House.

All of this is very different from the pornography film that was Ken Starr drooling in the tabloids twenty years ago. These are Americans, who have actively attempted to sell out America to its most hostile, powerful, and implacable foe. They deserve nothing less than the ultimate penalty of law.

In the last analysis, the biggest threat to Trump in the matter of Russiagate is not Robert Mueller or even Paul Manafort. It is he himself that is most to fear. His scorched-earth attacks on the FBI and on Mueller through the early part of the year failed to do anything but make him look more guilty. Something is in the air, and the tension is palpable. America will have to wait and see.

How Russians Silence Democrats on Facebook- With Impugnity.

GET MAD- while you still can!

There’s nothing like constant reminders of how Nazis all over the world are out to get you to fill one’s heart with joy and fancy-free, especially when such hatred is your reward for writing for free for a third of every day.

Today, people from as diverse a location as Brussels, Wales, Provo, Utah, and “General Location, Russia” tried to hack the site; I get emails on them from all over the world. This is nothing new, it’s an everyday event. My Sucuri plugin lets me know their IP addresses. It looks just like this:

Bored, uncreative loser who tried to hack me
An example of a turd who tried to hack us.

Then, we go to a place called WhatismyIPaddress.com, and take a look at where they’re from. It looks a lot like this:

Creepy.
Lviv is a very famous place, world renowned for the quality of its IT experts. This one decided to make his life’s work the ruining of ours. Nice, Russia.

And so it goes. Every day. The threats just keep rolling in. “If you back off, then nothing will happen”, one guy wrote to us. How creepy.

On the subject of cyber-woes, let’s not forget Facebook. More than 120 million Americans were reached by Russian ads through their platform in 2016.

Regarding Facebook’s treatment of Democratic activists, there are exactly two possibilities. Either they are unfair, unethical, and unfit, or they are absolutely incompetent.

Either way, hundreds of loyal and hardworking Democratic activists are in what we refer to as Facebook Jail, as these words are being written. This has been the case for at least six months; there’s countless documentation. Nobody listens.

One young lady who always goes out of her way to spread our articles around on Facebook has been mass-reported and algorithmically defiled to the point where a single post is now enough to have her sent back to jail.

That’s exactly what happened yesterday. One week’s worth of restriction, for sharing our post on the fake left and the so-called Justice Democrats. She’d just had her last restriction lifted, two hours prior. As soon as she hit the Share button, she was given another week’s restriction.

It just plain sucks, when you’re stopped for months at a time from even commenting in Facebook groups that you created, because of Russian agitators gaming their stupid robots. The data just keeps rolling in, as to how good they’ve gotten at doing it, and how Facebook just keeps letting them.

Facebook must be reformed. It must stand up, show some transparency, and hold itself accountable.

That’s exactly what it hasn’t done.

It makes you wonder if someone hasn’t managed to shake up Zuckerberg.

I haven’t even tried to organize this article. It’s just raw today.

Julian Assange, that scruffy little rat, has been rewarded for his treason to the species with a citizenship in Ecuador. He’ll be out partying tonight, thanks to his buddy Vladimir coming through for him.

Earlier today, the president labelled Dianne Feinstein “Sneaky” and a criminal, for doing her job well, showing the world how the Republicans have been covering up for Trump as he covers up for Putin by revealing the Fusion GPS testimony.

Where has justice gone?

What has happened in this country, when following the precise dictates of the law has become something only outlaws do? When did patriotism become uncool? What has happened to the Republicans? Exactly when did the party of Ronald Reagan start letting the Russians waltz all over us?

Trump threatened Feinstein in the same bullying, childish tone about the “Tough Primary Challenge” she’ll be facing. It’s as if he’s saying, “Oh yeah, lady. That “Justice Democrat” (how much more do we need that these people are not on the level?)coming after you this year? It’s me you’re really up against.”

“If you back off, nothing will happen…”

That piece of trash didn’t know how right he was. If you back off, if you back down, if you go back to sleep and be silent, then nothing will happen. Nothing will EVER happen. So that is the absolute last thing that we will ever do!

Millennial Democrats will not be intimidated, and we will not be pushed around. Petty attempts to harass or frighten us will do nothing but strengthen our resolve. With every challenge they force us to find our way around, we expand our capabilities further.

Our message to the bullying little nobodies who’ve been putting all this effort into silencing us is merely this: We will bear witness anyway. Actually, we appreciate your help. All of your harassment is a sign of our success.

While you’ve been so desperately trying to destroy us, we’ve had readers in nearly every country in the world, in less than six months.

So hack away, you bunch of whackers. Once you finish failing, the only thing you’re good at, hit a treadmill and get some girlfriends. Thanks for the digital lessons, too. We’ll be sure to come and show you what we’ve done with them, some sunny day.

The worst thing is that we cannot count on our president to protect us from these foreign assailants. That is indeed a terrible feeling. But it won’t always be this way. We won’t always be on the receiving end.

This whole Trump thing, all the alt-right nonsense, the Richard Spencers and all the rest of it, amounts to nothing more than the final death-throes of reactionary fascism. It’s a fish in a dried-up pond. Casting one’s lot with that pack of nincompoops is the worst imaginable wager.

When the end comes for Donald Trump and his whole rotten way of life, there’s going to be a lot of people out there who’ve been wearing those stupid red hats of his who are not going to be forgiven.

They’ll be like Sudeten Germans in 1945. Outcast from society forever. No matter what you do, no matter what you say, you will never be trusted again. And you will never be welcome again. Our message to Trump supporters is simply this: TURN BACK NOW. Before it is forever too late.

A New Year’s Resolution for Democrats- Taking Back Our Country.

Now back to work.

I find myself physically shaking my head as I think about 2017.

What can we say about it that has not been said before? Obscenities? Pleas to God? Somehow, words run dry.

Since the 20th of last year, we have been beset on all sides, as if a dam had burst its floodgates. Back then, I felt like a croaking soothsayer in a Shakespeare play, shouting into the wind.

Above all, defeat was stifling. It left us with little to do except sit around in groups and think tanks, trying to figure out where it all had gone so wrong. And by March, many brave warriors from the election cycle were sick of the whole debacle. Extended trench warfare is a terrible thing psychologically.

We lost people here and there in trickles. It was hard to see them go, but it was awesome to watch a hardcore form until only the most dedicated remained. We cleaned up the Groups and we started to tighten bonds. Our foxholes we dug deep, and our trenches we shored up well. We slowly built the infrastructure we will need to build this movement. And now, we’re seeing those people trickling back.

It was around April or May that the anti- Democrat cyber-invasions started on Facebook. When you get fifty, sixty new members requests a day, in a Facebook Group that’s got six hundred members, it makes you start to wonder. And when you see the same thing happening to every single group in your whole network, you know for sure. We’ve passed the point of thinking it might just be paranoia.

It was clever how they did it. They noted that Americans tend to lose interest in politics a few months after a big election and expected our groups to be sitting ducks for sleeper cells. They were organized and they were motivated. It showed up pretty clearly that for the opposition, there’s no such thing as an offseason. So we took no days off either.

I can hear the fireworks of the New Year crackling and booming in the distance, and I wonder what this particular new year is going to bring with it.

I hear the explosions and I think of Kim Jong Un in North Korea, triggering seismic shifts on his own land as a Fourth of July gift to the world.

One thing only is certain. We have got to make serious headway in cleaning this mess up, and we have to do it this year. Last week Doug Jones of Alabama was officially certified as the victor of the Senatorial race he fought against Republican Roy Moore. He will be sworn in officially on the third of January.

The victory of Jones has given us Democrats a plausible path to taking control of the Senate again next November. It did not exist before then. That combined with #TheBlueWave that started building this November when we won in Virginia and New Jersey has given us a very real momentum. Our job as activists is to help that momentum grow in every way we can.

The key now is to find new ways to tie ourselves together. The stronger our bonds are, the firmer our solidarity. People stay true to their convictions when they can still draw strength from those who share them. It’s when they cut us off and make us feel small, that people start to shake loose from the coalition. But we’re not going to let that happen. We’ve got a no-man-left-behind policy, and we are not accepting any casualties.

The clock has turned, and we have entered 2018. Very soon now, we will be coming out of the trenches, and rushing to the battlefield with everything we’ve got.

This is bigger than America. It’s bigger than Russia, and it’s bigger than Trump and Putin. This is a world war between ideologies. It’s the age-old struggle between authoritarianism and democracy and must be fought anew in every generation.

As we go forward into the New Year, we have got to assume it’s going to get worse before it gets better. A lot worse. The first obstacle is going to be fending off more than four hundred primary challenges from the so-called Justice Democrats, people who ought to be our natural allies, at a time when every dollar is needed to take the Congress back from the Republicans.

It’s unbelievable and it doesn’t make sense unless you assume their intent is to hurt loyal Democrats as badly as they can. But nevertheless, that is our situation. We must make the best of it.

Our plan is simple. We intend to take back our own ideas from the radicals who have usurped them. We will meet our opposition on every battlefield we can find.

This will be a historic year for the Democratic Party, no matter what. This will go down in the books as the year we rallied, came together, and cleaned up our country’s backyard.

The path ahead is finally clear. We will simply make a New Year’s resolution. We will keep the faith and work as we have never worked before. Next week, the whole circus starts up again in earnest.

This is likely to be a midterm year like no other in history. It’s going to be a mess, and it will take every bit of us all to get it done, but it is possible. Momentum and midterm tradition both favour us. Happy New Year, fellow Democrats. We’ve survived the first year of Donald Trump. We’ve earned it.
