Raggedy Bernie Sanders Will Never Be President. Joe Biden Will- A Countdown To Iowa.

Bernie Sanders is not going to be our President. One look at him is enough to tell you that; Americans love a winner, and that is not a role Bernie can play. Then after you hear him yelling, you can doubly forget it. Regardless of all the endless dollars that have poured into his creation, regardless of his fanatical following’s ferocity, Bern is a bust just as much now as he was in 2016. Democrats will come together behind literally anybody else, but we want nothing to do with the Bern. He’s a chickenhawk, scam and aggressive panhandler all rolled into one, like a prestigious university dual major, I can’t wait for the day I stop having to even write his name. I’m sorry the day came when I had to start.

On the other hand, Senator Joseph Bissonette Biden of Delaware, father, former vice-president, and all-around good guy, has the best of all possible chances. He will get a chance to demonstrate tonight once again why he’s in a league of his own when compared to the rest.

Tonight the final Democratic debates of the pre-Iowa caucus season are here, and the only thought on my mind is to protect the primary by any necessary means. We can’t let things get too out of hand or it’ll be 2016 all over again. Bernie, who is either foolish or evil for even running again, since he knows no true Democrat will ever accept him as their Party’s leader, kicked things off in his usual bullying style with a surprisingly vicious attack on his old friend Elizabeth Warren, a fight that has been coming for some time. They are now squabbling like a pair of aged turkeys jostling for feed, the alfalfa pellets that are so reminiscent of neo-progressive voters.

Joe Biden, like Hillary Clinton, knows better than to get deeply involved. Let them have at each other, what a blast. He won’t bother engaging with Bern since nothing good can possibly end up coming out of it. Bern is Murphy’s Law weaponized and given human form. His idea of philosophy is, Anything that can go wrong will go wrong- because as soon as I get the power, it will all be smashed to bloody smithereens by Great Destroyer me! Scourge of the millionaires and billionaires.

We weren’t aware back then, but the Bern is a millionaire too. Jesus God.

After the zoo that has been the last four awful years, the country needs to heal. We have to somehow find a way to cope with and process all that we’ve been through. Not one but two demagogues showed up, Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, and both shattered tranquility anywhere they could find it. All of us on every side have essentially been living in hell, and need nothing now so much as a little peace of mind and peace and quiet; we’ve been dancing on quicksand all this time. We need the measured, sane leadership of Joe Biden.

There’s no real beginning or end to the list of Bernie’s blunders, models all of gross insensitiveness, inefficiency, and intellect-free decision making. Remember that one time he started ripping up President Obama- whose dirty sweat socks were more capable and well-spoken than the Bern- on Martin Luther King Jr. Day? What a slap in the face of America’s black community that was, the very people that he now begs and cajoles for support. He is an embarrassing liability to every cause he claims somehow to espouse.

We can knock this one out of the park without even mentioning 2016. It has been a long three years with this guy.

How about the time he tried accepting a keynote speaker’s invitation from the foulmouthed and bestial Linda Sarsour, who wants to “take away” the vaginas of other women, to appear at the Women’s Convention of 2017? When American women found out and made their feelings known, Bern backed out so fast you’d have thought he’d seen a ghost. He did the same thing at the Women’s March later that year, with the same result, showing he has no respect for women at all.

This is why his women’s rights record reads like an excerpt from Stag Magazine- on purpose.

Quoth St. Bernard,

“A man goes home and masturbates, to his usual fantasy- A woman tied up, a woman on her knees, a woman abused. A woman enjoys intercourse with her man- as she fantasizes being raped by three men simultaneously.”

“Have you ever looked at the Stag, Man, Hero, Tough magazines on the shelf of your local bookstore? Do you know why the newspaper with the articles like ‘Girl of 12 raped by 14 men’ sell so well? To what in us are they appealing?”

Who are we nominating for president again? Judge Roy Moore of Alabama? It’s clear Bernie knows to what they are appealing, at any rate, and why not? He always has the answers, to everything!

It has really been a long few years.

The first election of the primary season will be the same as it is every year, the Iowa caucus. This year it will be held on February 3; just three short weeks away. It is the first step on the way out of the miniature Dark Ages that terrible 2016 became- but it is not a critical one. Iowan voters have let themselves go haywire good in the past. The Bern’s overperformance there last time empowered and encouraged his tilting at windmills campaign, as did his expected victory in New Hampshire. Hope springs eternal in the human heart, they say, especially when hundreds of millions of dollars were spent to put it there, and for one special moment, they truly believed they could win.

Then the voting down South started, and all that was gone like the mirage of an oasis, Hillary Clinton’s lead became insurmountable instantly, and every week it just got worse. So did the behavior of his followers, who soon displayed the racism and sexism their foul breed is known for, every chance they got. Considering that their master once wrote something like this rape essay here- for fun, I might add, on his leisure time no less, can we really be surprised that not very long from his defeat in July of 2016, one of them put this picture up on the door of a black church?

This is what we're fighting.
This is who they are, these far leftists we’re constantly attacked and assaulted by. These will be the people running the government if ridiculous Bern should stumble out a win.

By Super Tuesday Bern was in dire straits, and within the next few races, it became clear to any sane observer of sense that the jig was really up. His devotees, not yet completely insane prior to April, shrieked and howled at the moon like so many hyenas and wolves, and soon they resolved to bern down anything they couldn’t conquer- which was pretty much everything. Likewise, they made common cause with the Russians and their Macedonian flunkies, like Oliver Mitov here.

These pro-Bernie Sanders Facebook groups were all partially run by Macedonian hacker Oliver Mitov, who may or may not even exist.
These pro-Bernie Sanders Facebook groups were all partially run by Macedonian hacker Oliver Mitov, who may or may not even exist.

As you may have guessed by now, Bernie’s foreign policy has a lot to do with the Russians he was boozing it up with in the video of his honeymoon below, a presidential display if ever there was one. Putin definitely felt the Bern and maybe hopes one day to feel some more of him. This ad he put out on Facebook for the Bern suggests it’s grossly possible.

This is Buff Bernie, a Russian rendition. Notice the poorly worded and clearly unnatural English they have here. This was typical, and precisely what caught my attention in the first place.

Buff Bernie, for the love of all creation. You don’t know whether to go blind or-

Well, fill in the blank.

Why someone would have spent his honeymoon in Russia, hanging out with a bunch of men, I do not pretend to know. A sodden intoxication, yowling Woody Guthrie songs with Communists in the Soviet Union, shirtless and disheveled and the most slovenly sight I’ve ever seen.

Judge for yourself.

You’ve got yourself a classic there, Bern. I can’t tell you how much I’m feeling you right now. Perhaps you and Putin and Vitali Shkliarov, another skeevy Ruskie working on your “central to the Russian interference plot” campaign, will all go out a-wassailing next Christmas, or at the next Russian military parade.

You should have been on trial beside Trump’s campaign manager Paul Manafort, Bern, or at least testifying against him like your old campaign manager Tad Devine. You admitted blatantly to having known the Russians were involved in helping you and hurting Hillary Clinton when the whole world knows you sat idle and did not a thing to help.

You knew, Bern. The country was in danger, our electoral process was being used by foreigners as toilet paper, and the whole world was laughing at us. You are supposed to be our next commander-in-chief, which means it’s your job to protect this country, all of it. But you said nothing. Then later, in that interview, you lied on TV and said you lot had sent warning specifically; that was nothing but a joke from our perspective, the people who stayed to nail things down when your lunatic band of foreign and robotic Merry Men summoned a tornado down on us all. Just so we understand each other, you are nothing but a traitor. And your brat supporters false-reported the tweet offline.

Why have we been saddled with this moldy albatross around our necks, O Lord? Take this cup from us-please!

Any examination of Bernie’s record reveals him as a fraud. He boasts that he is not a Democrat and is brazenly appallingly proud of it. He voted against the Brady Bill five times. He once shoved his wife out of the way, on a stage in front of a crowd, at a campaign event because she talked for too long. “Don’t stand next to me!” he shouted at her like an animal.  He was the most libertarian candidate in the 2016 race. His campaign had more than a dozen Federal Election Commission violations. His foreign policy talk about Iraq is misleading since he had nothing to lose by voting no and since his record is full of other hawkishness, including fervent support of the Serbian bombings of Kosovo he reviled Hillary Clinton for. The big problem we had in 2016 is that no one bothered to vet Bernie much because he was such a weak candidate, he should have just collapsed like MoveOn.org’s other pick, Martin O’Malley. We didn’t know who or what we were up against last time. Now we do.

And we do not intend on forgetting.

With thanks to Alternet for the writing and the data.

The attack on Kosovo is hardly the extent of Sanders’ hawkishness.
While it’s true he voted against the Iraq war, he voted in favor of
authorizing funds for that war and the one in Afghanistan. More
recently, he voted in favor of a $1 billion aid package for the coup
government in Ukraine and supported Israel’s assault on Gaza. At a
town hall meeting he admitted that Israel may have “overreacted,” but
he blamed Hamas for the entire conflict. When an audience member asked
why he refused to condemn Israel’s actions, he told critics: “Excuse
me! Shut up! You don’t have the microphone.”

Hey, Bern! Why didn’t you condemn Russia’s actions? Remember all those times you refused to vote to sanction them? Disgusting. This old failure has passed three bills in three decades, folks, and two of them were for renaming local post offices. Talk about spunk and American initiative, boy. What a hard worker he is, this man who never had a job at all until age thirty-seven. How people figured a guy who’d spent half his life in the Congress was a political outsider back then I will never understand.

Foreign policy is an area in which the Biden/Bernie gap becomes a chasm, a gaping abyss. The ancient Norse Vikings believed that all life on Earth arose from a massive Gap of Gaps, from which poisonous fumes rose like socialism and somehow created all we have. Go figure. Anyway, a gap that size is the one we’re talking about here. When it comes time to talk about fitness for the task of representing us well in the world, these two guys Biden and Bern are a ludicrous comparison to make. It’s like comparing apples to dog turds. They might as well be on different planets. We’ve got to stay focused on that and make sure everyone else does too.

By this point, parties on all sides are well aware the next six months promise a circus beyond anything P.T. Barnum ever dreamed of.

America doesn’t require or desire a return to what former President Warren G. Harding once called “a return to normalcy”, because what is normal in today’s world is a freakish caricature of what it meant thirty years ago when we were kids. Professional wrestling spilled out of our television sets and took over the world. Everything seems like a skit now, and Bernie is the perfect Heel to Trump’s Hero. Normal is probably out.

Never Bernie.

But we can have sane and decent again. Joe Biden is not a crazy socialist with a fifty trillion-dollar health care time bomb ready to set off in our economy. He knows what he’s doing in there. We have gone through too much in the Trump era for any more shenanigans from a demagogue, and we need someone capable enough to clean this whole mess up. We, center Democrats, have held the line; we became that rock in the river, tethered to a principle, and ready with a plan at every turn. These days Joe is the best representative we’ve got, which is the other half of the reasons to reject the candidacy of ridiculous and rusty Bernie Sanders.

We simply do not need the guy. Go back to writing op-eds about Saturday mail delivery, Bern, like back in 2014- when you were suddenly rebranded and made a superstar, seemingly at random…

More on that in future articles. Count on it.

In conclusion, it is not only Bernie’s incompetence and unfitness for the role that ensures he never will be President. We’ve got a better guy, one who is more popular, more polished, more professional, and just plain superior to the Bern even when he’s at his abysmal best. Joe Biden was the most recent vice-president Democrats have had, and under Barack Obama, no less, who turned out to be a genius. He has the information and skill that this will take. His unpleasant Gollum-like opponent is just plain lacking by comparison- and objectively.

While Bern was renaming post offices and little else, lounging around the Senate like the white Clarence Thomas, Biden was all over the world handling American affairs and representing her people with the utmost decorum and skill. Can he speak like John F. Kennedy? No. But that makes him all the more perfect for this time and place, in which nothing is more needed than a plainspoken, honest sort of fellow, the one your guts tell you you can trust- a No Malarkey sort if you will (check that awesome Group out on Facebook). Biden is a kind and genuine man, a finder of lost children. Bernie is the guy to lead us farther out into the wilderness. That old zombie will never, ever, EVER be the President of America, and for that, we really can be grateful.

From Millennial Democrats, starting today, look for All Biden, All The Time, until Iowa and beyond. We are in it to win it, and the day to fight in earnest together has come. You can find us without too much trouble at @MilDemsAmerica on Twitter. On Facebook, we’re Millennial Democrats- America and her fifty auxiliary State Pages. Our parent organization Organizing For Democrats has a great many Groups and Pages also, and allied organizations in the family such as the good folks at the WIRAPress Files, links shown here in blue, or the Musing Madman’s Madhouse, a blog living right next door to this one, so to speak, or talkingbarrysense.wordpress.com for another. Last, we’re newly on Instagram at millennialdemsusa. Check us out. And check out Joe Biden, while you’re at it.

I vouch for him.

Biden for President, Warren for Vice? It’s Possible.

Biden/Warren2020? It's possible!
As next year’s election season draws in ever closer and looms over Planet Earth like the Apocalypse, all the world is wondering what American voters will do next year. Will Donald Trump and his evil divisions and his foolhardy ways be thrown out on his ear, or will they be codified and set into stone in a new Dark Ages to take place until at least 2024? Only one thing is certain: 2020 will be the most critical election of our lifetimes, except for 2016.
After months of uncertainty, former vice-president Joe Biden decided to run. We soon endorsed Biden as the only sane choice, knowing in our hearts only that Trump must go and that a socialist must not replace him. Now everything depends on him. The blown gasket of Bernie Sanders gave second-place Elizabeth Warren a big boost and set the chessboard up for next year’s races. The game will be between the two of them. When it ends, and it comes time for Joe Biden to accept the nomination, it is our opinion that he should at least consider picking Warren as his running mate and making her the vice president.
The nature of politics requires shifting alliances at times, and it is in that context that I first began to think about the possible efficacy of running a Biden/Warren ticket. If executed correctly the play could end up repairing the gaplike rift that was torn in the Democratic Party by Bernie Sanders back in 2016. The long term health of the Party would be likely to improve, which is critical to America’s future.
In essence, it will depend on what Warren decides to do after she realizes that she is going to lose to Joe Biden beginning on Super Tuesday and heading into next summer. Will she link hands with Bernie as her chosen vice-president in a wrongheaded attempt to land herself in the Oval Office? Or will she do the right thing and throw her support behind Joe, the only one of us who has what it takes to beat Donald Trump, and offer to throw in as his chosen vice president?
It’s one of the biggest decisions a person could ever have to make, and we can’t say with any sort of certainty that Joe would even consider picking her. Many believe that he would not, but I’m not sure I agree. Joe Biden was the first person in politics Elizabeth Warren ever spoke to, as a friend of Dr. Phil’s, and his magnanimity in engaging her in a debate is how she became a recognized figure. If she has any decency at all, and I believe she does, she will harbor some gratitude towards him for creating her. For his part, Biden seems to like Warren and to have taken some interest in her career, and the race between the two of them has remained civil. I say it’s possible and more than possible. I say it’s a good idea. We should try putting it out there before she throws in with the other side irrevocably.
The fake leftist organization known as the Justice Democrats have been pushing Warren hard to formally align with Bern and make their two camps one, effectively dividing the Party forever and leaving us with a truly uphill struggle going into the general election against Trump, a man who is as vicious as a sewer rat and has a pack of them waiting behind.
They have dangled many a tasty bait before her eyes. But she still hasn’t fully bitten yet. She screwed up bad in Texas campaigning against Henry Cuellar for the socialist trying to primary that good Democrat out, but she does not have to cast her lot with them all the way. She is still in a good place for sucking it up and making Biden a good vice.
That is the only reason why it’s even worth it to write this article. We’re not saying it’s a sure thing, or even a likely thing, or any of that. We’re saying it’s possible, that it makes sense, and that it makes enough sense to be worth speculating on publicly. I would like to see it happen. But it absolutely has to be on the correct terms, the terms we’ve been talking about over here for three years now, the terms of America’s moderate core, and the core of the Democratic Party.
In next year’s general election, it’s all going to hinge on our ability to show the people that we are the sane and moderate ones. America desperately needs to return to normalcy after four years of living in the zoo, and we have to show the people that in the vacuum created by the Trump era we haven’t warped too much for that to be possible.
Above all, we have got to tell the people we are not for any sort of socialism. The Democratic Party’s entire future hinges on making sure we say that clearly enough. Trump’s entire reelection strategy revolves around pointing the finger at all the far-out things said and advocated for by the Squad‘s most famous and controversial member, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Having to defend her all the time really sucks, and she’s only a freshman Representative.
Warren’s plans are too close to socialism for us to get behind her entering into the White House- except, just maybe, as a vice.
The strategic requirements of the position are hard to measure in a dissolving political landscape like this one. The evaluation can only be unclear. Given that, we should preserve all our options as long as possible. Warren could still make a good vice, and it is my opinion therefore that, annoying as she is, as annoying as her Warren Weevils are, we do not attack in earnest just yet. She could still be of use.
Warren has never declared openly as our enemy, although campaigning with the “Democratic” Socialists and the Justice Democrats in Texas comes pretty close; to get rid of Trump, I would suffer it for the time being and support her as a vice-presidential candidate.
She has flirted with both sides but remained uncommitted; certainly this is the sign of a turncoat, but that’s just life sometimes. We need her to pacify and bring into the voting booths the radicals on our behalf, which is the reason we’re congratulating her cannibalizing of the Bern.
She’s the only one who could have done that.
Warren was the first choice of the fake left to hamstring Hillary Clinton back in 2016, not Bernie. The campaign was invented by a socialist and was called Run Warren Run, a reference to a scene in the movie Forrest Gump where a mentally retarded person is fleeing rock-chasing tormentors.
You don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Warren didn’t bite that time, either, and so six months to the day after they’d started, Run Warren Run shuttered its doors and Bernie Sanders became a manufactured folk hero, someone the right-wing could trust to take a dump in every Democratic lawn. Her instincts were decent enough back then to let her know she had no chance of winning.
In her heart, she must already know that is the case again.
Poll aggregators like this one from RealClearPolitics show out completely the false media narrative of Biden having a co-frontrunner. Biden is beating Warren like a flea-bitten animal in the overwhelming majority of polls, and any poll where more than just rich white college kids are asked for their opinion, and tying with her even there. On her own, in the driver’s seat, Warren’s case is hopeless.

But she could still do some good for us. Her judgment in the history books will depend on her being selfless and sensible enough to throw her lot behind us and Joe Biden.
In closing, if Warren can bring the radical leftists to the booths (at least, those that aren’t closeted right-wingers), and Trump can send the sane Republicans in there for us once and for all, Biden can bring the moderate core of America, the one that has held this country together during thick and thin, and the Democrats can retake the White House. Of course the whole concept may be about as substantial as a Beach Boys song, but even so.
Wouldn’t it be nice?

Ridin with Biden, From Today On! No More Socialist Frauds. There Can Be Only One.

Today Millennial Democrats has formally declared for Joe Biden, Barack Obama's Vice President and the best man for the job.
Time marches on, folks. Political landscapes dissolve and reform as new systems with new rules. Objectivity must by necessity govern strategy. Each position must be considered its own reality, weighed care
And with that I will inform you that I’m ready now to shift Our strategy to something reflective of common sense. The for-profit big money calling three front runners and awarding Chief Liz the non-Native and Bern equal status ludicrously with the one man who might win. We like all the rest, except for Tulsi G, and GOD, was it nice to see Gillibrand go! We remember Al Franken, you traitorous crow. Go jockey for influence somewhere below where throat-cutting your friends is a good thing to do. We’re nothing but glad to see no more of you.
It’s time for us with boots on to jump into the fray and land with a stomp with no further delay. So we’re Ridin with Biden at once and for all. He is by far the best of those who heard the call. It’s undoubtedly true that he’s no HRC. He’s also no Trump; that’ll do it for me. The country is weary, and so I will fight. I will fight and I’ll fight with all of my damn might, for Biden and all those resisting the night! I will refuse to quit until we see the light! I decided to declare today using verse so the world will take notice of all we rehearse.
We’re Americans, by God! Take note of our opinions, world; they are taking note of you.
Would be President Biden,

In the name of good sense, man! Please listen to me!

I know where I’m going! We’ve somewhere to be!

Let me speak for Joe Biden! Let me talk to them!

I’m one of these people!

They’re mostly my friends!

They will welcome the sound of my voice.

And I know, For the Bible tells me so!

I will speak for these people, for God only knows

Their voices are not being heard by all those

Who live in golf kingdoms and Ivory Towers

And watch us like beasts in their leisurely hours

Serene in their money, through bulletproof glass!

But it can’t keep the truth out! Now hear our forecast!

I’ll tell, if you’ll listen, the way that it is.

The people are feeling cut loose and adrift.

The people need life that makes sense and a plan.

We are starving for knowledge, and most of all, man

The people need language that we understand!

The people are hurting. The people are tired!

We’re bewildered and mad because we’ve been lied to!

We’re insisting today that you tell us the truth!

The American people are proudest on Earth!

We’ll be damned before demagogues play us like dupes!

Let me be the first, sir, to tell you aright

We don’t mean to waltz gently into that good night!

We the People are getting fed up, sir! We’ll fight!

We will kick down the doors of those hiding the light!

Let me talk to the people. They’ll listen to me.

Their struggles and dreams are the same ones I see.

We love this dear country with all that we are,

And we’re sick in our hearts at what’s happening to her!

The people need someone with stomach and heart

Who will be there for us when life’s looking most dark.

We’ve only got one first rank option, and so

We chose a good man with the good sense to know

That we’re willing and able and raring to go!

We are Ridin with Biden, millennials we.

All of us have been ready. So with no delay

It’s my duty to tell you, dear sir, that today

All us people are waiting to hear what you’ll say.

We believe in you, Joe.

You’re our last, best hope.

For the love of God

By all His many names,

Be worthy of us!

We the People of,

The greatest country in the world!

2020 Dems Not to Duplicate DNC, Fate of Sanders’ Our Revolution Uncertain.

2020 presidential candidates agree not to try and duplicate what requires no duplication- the Democratic Nomination Committee, or DNC.

The Association of State Democratic Committees had some very good news for us on Tuesday. According to their announcement, every leading presidential contender has vowed not to create “any organizing or messaging infrastructure that is parallel or duplicative” to the DNC or state parties. According to Politico, the signed pledge also binds candidates to publicly call on their supporters not to launch outside groups on their behalf.

That leaves the fate of Bernie Sanders-created PAC Our Revolution uncertain at best. Probably their days are numbered.

It’s a good thing too. This organization is a hornet’s nest. Nina Turner is one of the bigwigs over there, and she’s a vicious cannibal through and through, an eater of guests beneath her roof. She told all her supporters to go and vote Jill Stein in 2016, and they did. Now look where we are. They have our children on the border in dog cages, and none of it could have happened without that set of crazies from Bernie’s old camp, back then.

Many disasters have taken place involving the DNC since 2016, and most are the fault of the so-called progressives. Here at Millennial Democrats, we’ve been charting out the story now for years. The biggest coup they scored was his just over three years ago, the Russian-facilitated Wikileaks dump of illegally acquired DNC emails.

Now-prisoner Julian Assange got together with Russia, now-prisoner Roger Stone, and now-prisoner Paul Manafort to plan out what surely ranks as one of the most effective non-military blows ever struck by one country at another. Russian disinformation manipulated American opinion just as our intelligence used to do to small Third World powers back in Reagan’s time and before. It was like living in a banana republic.

Their efforts, as it happened, prepared an abominable toxin for blue chances in 2016. Insane members of the Bernie or Bust cult rioted in the streets of Philadelphia outside Hillary Clinton’s nomination ceremony, Bernie said nothing at all to calm them down, and America was watching. In a bizarre twist of fate, as they did, the first song of the ceremony inside was beginning, Paul Simon’s Bridge over Troubled Waters. Clinton’s campaign never really recovered. We lost the election that night.

And yet, the emails were nothing! Many of us vetted them thoroughly, all twenty-eight thousand of them. They ended up proving Debbie Wasserman Schultz (DWS) did some fussing about the Sanders’ campaign’s inability to file FEC forms out properly. Bernie had to have known they didn’t even hint at anything improper. He also had to know how great the peril of Donald Trump actually winning that fall’s general was afterward.

Why didn’t Bernie go speak for hours in the rain to calm them down? That’s what he’d been doing for himself, according to one post I read back then. The great altruist, St. Bernard, friend of the little man.

It should never be forgotten that without should-be-prisoner Tad Devine, the senior strategist in Bernie’s camp, Sanders might have calmed down enough to actually do that. But Tad, who had worked with Paul Manafort for years in Ukraine cooking up elections for Putin, Tad who had made his crisis his brand (literally; Our Brand is Crisis is a slogan of his and the name of a documentary about him), was not about to let that happen, even when other campaign officials such as manager Jeff Weaver would have liked to see him go a different way.

Tad Devine and Paul Manafort together with Konstantin Kilimnik, the shadowy Ukrainian figure wanted for questioning by the special counsel Robert Mueller. Tad is seated, if you’ll note, at Manafort’s immediate right; his right hand.

This connection struck us as the absolute height of fishiness back then, but nobody listened, least of all Bernie and his bots. When Manafort went on trial last year right around now, Tad was the first witness. What did the line of questioning require of him? To answer for what he knew about cooking those elections up in Ukraine for then-president Viktor Yanukovych and Vladimir Putin!

When this came out, Sanders was silent, and so were his followers, many of whom later rejoiced when Trump got off the hook in the Mueller investigation. They never wanted to hear anything about Russia back then, even though half of the admins in their groups were Macedonian and other Eastern European infiltrators only around to spread disinformation and foment rancor in the hearts those they were paid to attack- the American left, both moderate and progressive. Bernie or Bust has betrayed its every cause at every turn.

Going forward, it’s incumbent on us not to forget why we’re doing this, what our cause is. The cause is the service of the United States and its people. It’s about making progress de facto instead of just de jure on issues like health care or climate change, both major targets of the libertarian right, which we can never do without being in power. You can forget about holding ICE accountable, too, much less stripping it of funding.

In this case it was about protecting American elections from foreign manipulations. It wasn’t just about getting Donald Trump; or, at least, it shouldn’t have been. Russian interference in the Sanders campaign was hardly covered at all by Robert Mueller; that’s why Tad was a witness instead of being just another jailbird. The mainstream media said hardly a word. Raising awareness about this is still very difficult, given the frightful dearth of information available to the busy citizen who would just the same be informed if it were possible. That is simply wrong. It is not best for America.

Our Revolution, the group currently under the scope, is an outgrowth of that same cancerous 2016 Sanders campaign, a topsy-turvy landscape where nothing had value and truth did not even pretend to exist. Having done well for oneself financially became a crime unless you were the millionaire Bernie Sanders. He wouldn’t show his tax returns back then, just like Trump.

The same energy still floats around it;  It is a good thing for us to strongly advocate the new 2020 candidate agreement not to try and duplicate the DNC be made to include the complete and total dissolution of Our Revolution, a political action committee (PAV) created by Sanders himself. It has to go.

As an aside, this is not in our opinion the deserved fate of all pro-Sanders groups. No matter how annoying they may be, no matter how toxic their socialistic brand, we will stand for their right to speak just as fervently as we would our own or even a libertarian’s, though not a Nazi’s.

If only there were a way to do the same to the Justice Democrats! would be a logical first thought, but of course, that would involve getting rid of Millennial Democrats as well. God bless our dear good country, that bothers to protect our rights to speak. All of us.

Returning to our thread, try and contemplate the unthinkable for a moment (this should NOT be attempted by sane Democrats with heart or blood pressure conditions; we’ll take one for the team, folks). Imagine if Bernie did win the candidacy, his rape fantasy essays and all. In a general election? Has the whole world gone crazy?

Having all these metric tons of crap hung over our heads like a big brown Sword of Damocles would be a disaster. It’ll be Eugene McCarthy all over again. A thorough and outright joke. Trump will laugh himself back into the Oval Office, and the looks on all our faces will be the punchline.

I don’t want to be a punchline!

Going forward, it seems clear that we have got to stand together strongly to beat Trump. The whole left, not just the moderates or progressives. A house divided can never stand for long. If we are to win next year, if things are going to improve for any of us, we have got to show some unity right now. One family, one leadership, one nomination committee. The DNC must remain in command of strategical coordination, they are going to need our help, and only one solution serves all needs.

Our Revolution must go, and the rest of us must stay.

Bernie’s Soviet Honeymoon- Another Brick In The Wall.

Bernie's Soviet Honeymoon

It’s been a long road for Bernie Sanders, starting from Point A to B, and not a pleasant one. From his love for the Cuban Revolution to the time President John F. Kennedy made him “nauseous”, it is clear that this is not a man whose values are in line with that of most of America. Just the same, whenever you look at a person, you’ve got to take a whole lifetime’s worth of events into account. Nobody got where they were going overnight, and to an extent, fate takes us where it will, but one thing is for certain.

In the end, we all have to take responsibility for ourselves.

We’ve got to own our choices and their consequences too. If former judge Roy Moore of Kentucky, for example, molests a 14-year old girl, he has no one but himself to blame for his political prospects being dampened later and Democrat Doug Jones taking the Senate seat he wanted. People change, but rarely to that extent. We are who we are, as the old song goes. A leopard never changes his spots.

Where is all this going, you ask? Back in time to Moscow, on the honeymoon of Jane and Bernie Sanders.

There he is, folks. The man with no shirt, drunkenly bawling out “This Land Is Your Land” to the Soviets, is the same guy who wants to be our next president.

This cannot be allowed.

This is obviously not a recent video, but it’s important nonetheless. It is a foundational part of a career-long flirtation with socialism that has distorted people’s views of it all over the world and added a good deal of confusion to what is already one of the most muddled topics discussed by the human race, making it even more of a gigantic hodgepodge.

The Nordic countries, for example, according to Bernie are “Democratic Socialist” countries.

They are not. And for the record, they find it offensive to say that.

The social democracies of the Baltic states run their country according to free-market principles just the same as we American Democrats do, it’s just that they take care of their citizens also. This is what every liberal wants, and has since before the time of Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal. It’s called Social Democracy.

Before anyone tries chalking that up as semantics, please stop to consider among other things the five million people slaughtered in Russia during the first Five-Year Plan implemented by the Bolsheviks.

Consider also that the Nordics themselves, who managed to create a model for the rest of us, consider it offensive when Americans refer to their social democratic system as socialism.

The ex-president of Denmark wrote to Bernie in 2016, saying he was “Sick of his Socialist Slurs“, and asking him specifically to stop calling their governmental systems by the incorrect and politically loaded term socialism.

Here at Millennial Democrats, we certainly can understand and thoroughly agree with anyone who is advocating a closer study of the Nordic model. But we have to draw the line when it comes time to sling mud at it. It’s important to be respectful. Call people what they want to be called, call things by the correct names they are given by their creators. “Democratic” socialism is not the correct term. Social democracy is.

In Europe, socialism is another word for communism. Communism ravaged Europe. We can look at the twelve former Soviet satellite states for a model here. Every state that bought into Soviet thinking is doing horribly now, worse than any other region of the world. The innards of deep Africa are on an upward trajectory, economically speaking, but not Moldova or Belarus. In America, we say that the Soviets were “communist”, but this is not truly accurate. What they really had over there was centralized socialism, which Bernie praises all the way.

As he campaigns for president a second time, Bernie keeps trying to take credit for moving the party to the left. This is not really fair; it’s more of jumping on the bandwagon that real Democrats have been building up since before World War Two. Donald Trump also has a lot to do with the party’s leftward swing, if only because he is so utterly revolting; people want to be where he is not, regardless of where that is.

Either way, Bernie says he is the torchbearer, but he now is finding he has plenty of competition among his mostly-younger and more effective peers in the upcoming American 2020 presidential election. He is not the only one with a health care plan anymore. As a result, Sanders has been relying on personal history, where decades of past stubbornness do indeed prove that he’s been singing the same song all his life. His march with Martin Luther King Jr. is a standard; that one got him booed off the stage of the “She the People” event last week.

As he stood on Soviet soil, Sanders at the age of 46 is seen criticizing the cost of housing and health care in the United States, while lauding the Soviet Union. There, at a banquet attended by about 100 people, “Sanders blasted the way the United States had intervened in other countries, stunning one of those who had accompanied him.” (2)

“I got really upset and walked out,” said David F. Kelley, who had helped arrange the trip and was the only Republican in Sanders’s entourage. “When you are a critic of your country, you can say anything you want on home soil. At that point, the Cold War wasn’t over, the arms race wasn’t over, and I just wasn’t comfortable with it.”

Well, Mr. Kelley, you are not alone.

Going forward, we’ve got to keep the pressure on, raising awareness about what kind of a guy the formerly unknown entity Bernie Sanders is. This guy and his crazy followers rioted in the streets of Philadelphia for no reason and at the behest of Russians back in 2016, as Hillary Clinton went to go accept her nomination. They will do it again as sure as you’re born. Letting people know why they need to stand against this left-wing demagogue is important.

That video really says it all.

Bernie’s Foundation Crumbling- Campaign Alumni Address “Sexual Violence” In 2016.

Bernie Sanders is all bernt up!

Former staffers and alumni of the 2016 Bernie Sanders campaign wrote a lengthy letter to Bernie’s office, wanting to set up a meeting with Bernie’s office to address the climate of “sexual violence” that took place during the 2016 primary season. They labeled the situation as it developed “untenable”, and “dangerous”. They made specific reference to a pervasive culture of toxic masculinity

More than two dozen women and men who worked on that campaign participated in the letter’s crafting.

“In recent weeks there has been an ongoing conversation on social media, in texts, and in person, about the untenable and dangerous dynamic that developed during our campaign,” they wrote.

It’s about time.

This letter is not only a huge nail in undead Bernie’s coffin. It is also solid proof of something we’ve been waiting a long time for; namely, that the 9 of 10 Sanders supporters who went on to vote for Hillary Clinton in November of 2016 have inside them the moral capacity needed to assert themselves and make their voices heard on this incredibly important matter.

We’ve been hoping for years for this because it had been getting really hard to keep respecting those who kept on supporting Sanders through it all.

For three years now, we who occupy the sane center of America’s political spectrum have been forced to watch as a new type of critter, the Bernie Bro, crawled up out of the primordial filth to start spewing all over the country’s national dialectic. You couldn’t get through ten posts on your Facebook timeline without seeing some line of anti-Clinton conspiracy hatred slathered somewhere around a #BernieOrBust hashtag.

Nor has this tendency generally improved; this is clearly evidenced by the recent torrent of Bro slander unleashed against Beto O’Rourke.

It has been so disgusting that I know many people who will not now even say they’re on the left at all. They’ll say only that they are moderates. That is because their revulsion to the psychosis that led Bernie supporters to riot in the streets of Philadelphia during Hillary’s acceptance of the 2016 Democratic Party presidential nomination is so total.

I hope that one day they will heal enough to allow themselves to be brought back around. We need them.

This is the end for Bernie Sanders. His revolution is over, and his foundations are crumbling. Revolution Messaging, his feared social media machine, works for Beto now. Tad Devine is burned up; he was the first witness called at Paul Manafort‘s trial. Bernie’s campaign manager and Trump’s campaign manager were linked inextricably both by fate and Robert Mueller. Chief strategist Jeff Weaver was one of the ones who signed the letter.

It’s over. Time to move on.

This taking of accountability by the mentally stable members of the Sanders campaign will be a big start in restoring strength and unity to the sane center, where the middle class in all nations live.

All of us have known many Bernie supporters who were great people, progressive in the true sense of the word, people who were willing to overlook his lousy resume because they felt the issues he was championing to be so important. In all fairness and sincerity, they were! Income inequality in America really is gigantic. The middle class really is disappearing, we really do need public healthcare, and Norway really does have an excellent system of government- a capitalist one, like every other civilized country in the world.

All of that was valid, and those people who fought for it and still voted for Clinton are honorable, good Americans, just like us. But they have been shouted down by the same people who’ve been trying to shout us down, that noisy, visible, and unruly pack of creatures known as the Bernie Bros.

Those Bros are the ones who revealed the side of Bernie he didn’t want you to see.

The one who said women would prefer to stay home.

The one who said that Planned Parenthood is the establishment.

The one who voted to get lighter prison sentences for rapists.

The one who penned rape fantasy essays in the ’70s.

The list goes on ad nauseum, but one thread remains the same. This is a man who never, ever, in his whole twenty-eight years in the Congress, did a thing to champion black issues, women’s issues, LGBT issues, or really any issues except ones directly concerning white men like him. He also renamed two post offices.

Remember those last set of 2016 Democratic primary debates? Both presidential contenders were fiery, and passionate, which was only to be expected in what had, until that point, been a highly issues- focused and progressively driven primary. But once Bernie started losing, he got out and out rude. Rather than taking the opportunity to renounce the extremities of misogyny committed by his supporters, his performance gave weight to the concern Paul Krugman expressed back then: “Bernie is becoming a Bernie Bro.”

During the debate, Sanders interrupted Clinton again and again, at one point even throwing out a long “excuuuuse me” while wagging his finger. When not interrupting, he sat there smirking and making faces while Clinton spoke. At one point, he was seen muttering a sarcastic “OK.”

Imagine how this would play out in a general election! Imagine how Trump would beat us over the head with this!

We have just finished seeing the end of the Year of the Democratic Woman. Nearly a hundred women across America just won midterm elections. And women have for years now been dragged savagely through the mud by the maniacal supporters of Bernie. If the choice was Trump vs Bernie, how better than to thoroughly demoralize them? What a win-win for Vladimir Putin.

During the election, one of our contributors was told that they hoped she was gang-raped, due to her refusal to support their chosen master. And on the subject of rape, look at what Bernie himself wrote on the subject! Just don’t look right after lunch. They might as well have invited Harvey Weinstein or Bill Cosby.

Quoth St. Bernard,

“A man goes home and masturbates, to his usual fantasy- A woman tied up, a woman on her knees, a woman abused. A woman enjoys intercourse with her man- as she fantasizes being raped by three men simultaneously.”

“Have you ever looked at the StagManHeroTough magazines on the shelf of your local bookstore? Do you know why the newspaper with the articles like ‘Girl of 12 raped by 14 men’ sell so well? To what in us are they appealing?”

It’s clear Bernie knows to what they are appealing, at any rate, and why not? He always has the answers, to everything!

Watch for the moniker ‘Rape Fantasy Bernie’ to join the ranks of Lyin’ Ted and Little Marco. This is all to say nothing of the other baggage he comes with; the list is so long it’s taken over a dozen articles for this organization even to begin touching it. Here’s a timeline compilation on Bernie’s bull from Medium; if you’ve got three days to spend reading, knock yourself out.

It would be the biggest disaster in the history of the Democratic Party, Nixon vs. McGovern all over again.

We have always known and believed that most of his supporters are not the kind of people to permanently turn a blind eye to all this, and it’s a big relief to see them start asserting their awareness. They should know that they have compromised themselves severely over the years by remaining silent while all this went on for basic political reasons, e.g. they didn’t want to hurt Bernie. They should be commended for finally realizing that in this issue, Bernie has hurt himself and that the topic has needed addressing.

They should be deeply commended for putting this plan into action, and actually writing that letter. Sexual violence. That’s heavy.

Last year, Millennial Democrats addressed it ourselves, when anti-Semitic organizer Linda Sarsour invited Sanders to be the keynote speaker at the Women’s March. There was an outcry over that so huge that Bernie backed out as fast as his legs would carry him so that people would stop talking about this.

The choice of Bernie Sanders was an insult to every woman everywhere.

This year, Chicago won’t have the Women’s March, because they found out what Sarsour really is. Until she is gone, there is no Women’s March. A California Women’s March has been canceled as well, this time because of racial issues that have never been addressed by these rabid supporters of Bernie Sanders.

Just as we wrote last year, we need to Occupy the Women’s March, but that’s another story.

Perhaps after he fails to change, and they come to understand he’s been this way for sixty years and isn’t changing, they’ll make the next logical step, and come back over to our side, where nothing but welcome awaits them.

The next words are for all sane supporters of Bernie Sanders- Come back to us. We will embrace you.

By all means, go ahead with your plan to convert and reform Bernie, and the climate of “sexual violence” that takes place around him. If you succeed, it’s the best thing for America and the human race. Every person who becomes a champion for the rights of women, and everyone else, has done something to promote a better world. This would also mean we get to look forward to hearing him take full public accountability for six decades worth of chauvinism.

He’d better get started.

Our predictions for your success, however, are sadly not very bright. We Democrats have been trying to reason with Bernie for many years, but the kind of guy who said JFK made him nauseous is not likely to align precisely with traditional liberal and progressive goals. If and when he fails to achieve in this, the modest task that is his charge, give us a call.

This is being written on New Year’s Day. 2019 is here, and the halfway point of the Trump presidency will be crossed in just under three weeks. The end is in sight. We need to win next year and rid the country of Donald Trump.

Let us now come together once and for all to pick a leader who can guide us through the storm. And let us realize, once and for all, that Bernie Sanders is not it.

Democratic Women Sweep Primaries! No Revolutions, Please.

Lizzie Fletcher wins in Texas!

Voters went to the polls across four southern states on Tuesday to vote in Democratic primary elections, and brought with them a sharp refutation to radical leftist narratives from earlier in the election cycle.

Candidates favored by the national Democratic Party establishment did very well. Their more extreme competition, in most cases, did not.

These primaries were overwhelmingly swept by moderate Democratic women and were key to a number of congressional districts considered critical for our chances to win back the House.

They are also significant, in that they are highlighting the general trend of Democratic women emerging as leaders, and of the American people finding their way back to political moderation.

This fall’s races in these four Southern states will have a lot to say about whether or not we Democrats will be able to complete our task of redefining regional politics, in preparation for the battle to come this fall.

Our ability to do that is what retaking control of the House of Representatives will depend on.

Progressive ideas have flourished in the post-2016 Democratic Party, and real changes are coming. But it’s real Democrats who are making them happen. The ones who are members of the party.

The people who say the word “progressive” most are the ones now running groups like Our Revolution, an apparatus created after the election for bringing Bernie Sanders’s political revolution down-ballot continues to struggle to establish itself as a real difference-maker.

This group has done so badly since that we’re about done even mentioning them. They’re withering on the vine on their own. Most of their candidates bombed out terribly today.

Politico recently did a piece on the Sanders-inspired organization. It’s no longer merely withering. It’s going down in flames. They are not helping and they are not the ones spearheading the drive toward tangible change.

The Democratic Party as a whole is moving leftward along the political spectrum, in terms of policy and temperament. A recent survey by the Pew Research Center, which takes a periodic look at partisanship on various issues, indicates that to be true.

That’s a good thing, so long as we don’t push too hard and blow it like the radical left insists on doing. Most everyone is sick of “revolution”. We’ve been headed left for more than twenty years. And it has nothing to do with Bernie Sanders and his proxies.

There has never been a set of midterms so crucial. Everyone on every side knows this. The best chance we’ve got of getting rid of Donald Trump before 2020, except maybe for the 25th Amendment, is to turn the Congress blue.

We need Democrats in the legislative branch to get this country turned around again, and to get rid of Donald Trump.

We need each other right now more than ever, and in spite of all this, there’s a certain element on the left that refuses to care about any of this and instead insists on fighting their own people. That has to stop.

I saw a good point in an article a while back about progressive energy at the local level; awesome. It takes us all. Working together, and not against each other.

It’s not about rejecting progressive ideas; just the opposite. Democrats are all progressives. The 2016 platform was progressive to a magnificent degree.

But in order to be truly progressive, you’ve got to demonstrate that you can make progress. Our Revolution has shown no ability to tip a major Democratic election in its favor, despite possessing Sanders’ prized email list, and can claim no major wins in 2018 as its own.

This has reportedly left many Sanders supporters feeling disillusioned. The group was designed to harness the senator’s grass-roots movement and carry it forward in his name. Many true believers have seen that it is failing in its mission.

Either way, while the top brass of the aforementioned organization is eating each other, the rest of us have a lot of work to do.

It’s time to start focusing on the positives and putting the past to bed, and this finally brings us around to some good news. Some news about unity.

In Georgia, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Our Revolution all supported Stacey Abrams in her primary race for governor, and she won!

Her win was historic, as she will be the first black woman to be a candidate of a major party to run for Governor in Georgia. It marks the beginning of a new direction for the party. This is truly the year of the Democratic woman.

#NeverAgain- Justice for Stephon Clark and Parkland.

Time for Change!

Stephon Clark, a human being, who loved and was loved, has been reduced to another grisly statistic of gun crime, for no reason at all.

Family, friends, and legions of supporters flocked to Bayside of South Sacramento Church to pay their last respects in a nationwide ritual that has become all too familiar.

Monique Judge of Root Magazine wrote that “It was like watching crowds flocking to a concert.”

This is a massive and despicable state of unjust affairs. Andy Warhol wrote that in the future, everyone would get to have their fifteen minutes of fame, and in many ways that prediction proved prescient.

But you ought to be alive for it!

Dr. Monica Williams wrote the following perspective for PBS.

“In Baton Rouge, cops straddle a guy pinned on the ground, put a gun to his back and pump bullets into him. His life ends. That one still haunts me. In Charlotte, a man lies bleeding as his wife screams for help. She asks if anyone has called an ambulance. The police do nothing. How is this affecting the black community? “How do you think,” I want to say. We are sad, angry, and traumatized. We’re living in terror.”

Many believe that the problem is not even getting worse, but rather has been going on all along. They say the only real difference is that now we’re capturing more of it on video.

There is such a thing as racial trauma. Black people and other persons of color are telling us their stories. It’s not like they’re all just getting together and making it up. The time has come to recognize fully that the American experience is not the same for everyone. Racism is still real, and murderously powerful.

This Millennial Democrats contributor remembers watching Fruitvale Station and having to shut it off, and it’s good that for me, that was an option. For many, it isn’t, and until that changes, we have still got a lot of work to do.

In related news, the #Neveragain movement is working on converting momentum into something more tangible. The walkout is over, but the protest has just begun.

We are here, seven months before the midterm elections, two years before the 2020 election.

It is our duty to make it stick, and we are more than able.

Half a million and more descended on D.C. and other MarchForOurLives rallies all across the country to demand that politicians support additional restrictions on gun ownership.

Those who attended the march say they’re determined to see this through.

Alex Bihari, one young man who attended the Washington march said that when he goes to the polls for the first time this year, he said, he″ll vote on three issues: Guns, immigrants and refugees, and how candidates stand on Donald Trump.

“If someone is on the payroll of the NRA and gun lobby, that’s a deal breaker for me,” he said. “If someone is not willing help refugees and immigrants, that’s a deal breaker for me. If someone supports Donald Trump, that’s a deal breaker for me.”

 Well said.
In accordance with that line of thinking, it is the responsibility of Millennial Democrats to raise awareness about the single biggest thing to keep in mind about making changes on gun control, namely, that it will absolutely never happen until the Democrats are back in power.

Hillary Clinton, unlike Bernie Sanders or Donald Trump, earned a solid F rating from the NRA. They paid untold millions to have untold numbers of pages written, to warn all their followers about it. A significant part of the Wikileaks dumps was focused on it.

And less than a week after that, the head of Project Veritas Action, James O’Keefe, released an undercover video including footage of one of the hosts of the fundraiser, Integrated Archive Systems CEO Amy Rao, expressing how she thinks Clinton would pursue control.

In regards to guns, Rao told O’Keefe, “Hillary wants to shut it down,” adding, “If we can get guns away from everyone in this country, she’ll close loopholes, she’ll get rid of assault weapons, she will get rid of being able to buy unlimited bullets, she will make all that stop.”

That is why they hated Hillary Clinton.

The chief strategist behind the 1994 Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act and the 1994 ban on assault weapons was a man named Richard Aborn. He said the Parkland students have succeeded in raising this kind of energy because they are doing something that past survivors of mass shootings have not- threatening to throw out of office those who won’t consider their point of view. And that is what we have to do.

We’re tired of our people getting shot to pieces for nothing. We’re tired of our so-called representatives doing nothing about it. And we’re ready to make a change. Going forward, we’ve got a simple and effective strategy. We vote Democratic in every single election. Bring on the #BlueWave.

Days after this was written, it had to be updated, to reflect the newest name on the roster.  In New York City, earlier this evening, four officers (three in street clothes and one uniformed officer) fired 10 bullets in all. The man, identified by his father as Saheed Vassell, 34, was known to be mentally ill, and completely harmless.

The man had been walking around the streets for years, living his life and harming no one.

Nicole Williams, said she had given him $2 earlier on Wednesday afternoon. His last words to her, she said, were “Thank you, God.”
